FanDuel GPP Lineup for Week 13

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

Only Cleveland and Tennessee taking time off this week gives us plenty of options here in Week 13. With a near min-price QB that I’m more than happy to start, there was plenty of salary left over to build a star-studded lineup.

Paxton Lynch $6,000 – Denver (-3.5) @ Jacksonville, +/- 39.5

The Broncos are favored on the road against a Jaguars side that will be picking in the top 5 in next years draft. Kubiak and the Broncos defense will do enough so that Lynch doesn’t have to take too many chances.

Carlos Hyde $6,700 – San Francisco (-1.5) @ Chicago, +/- 43

It only took about 11 weeks for Chip Kelley to figure out Colin Kaepernick is pretty well suited to run the read-option offense in the NFL. With defenses having to respect Kap’s rushing ability, Hyde is getting some wide open spaces to run through.

LeGarrette Blount $6,600 – Los Angeles @ New England (-13.5), +/- 44

The Pats go in to this game banged up, facing a very soft opponent. I think the Pats keep it simple and bludgeon the Rams with Blount.

Brandin Cooks $6,800 – Detroit @ New Orleans (-6), +/- 53

I think ‘The Public’ fades Cooks this week after his goose-egg against the Rams. We’ve been plagued by Drew Brees’ and the Saints’ propensity to spread the ball around for a decade now, and I expect that spread-it-around mentality won’t be abandoned overnight.

Antonio Brown $9,000 – New York Giants @ Pittsburgh Steelers (-6). +/- 48.5

Savings at other spots left me with plenty of cash available at wide receiver. Anytime I can afford to start Antonio, I’ll do it.

Odell Beckham Jr. $9,000 - New York Giants @ Pittsburgh Steelers (-6). +/- 48.5

Since I’m confidently starting 2 of the best wide receivers in the game in a matchup with one of the highest over/under numbers of the week, we can expect a low-scoring run—the-ball-and-play-D strategy from these teams here in Week 13.

Tyler Eifert $6,800 – Philadelphia @ Cincinnati, (-1.5), +/- 42

Tight end is getting thinner by the week. With Eifert looking strong coming back from his injury, I’ll pay up at TE this week.

Caleb Sturgis $4,500 - Philadelphia @ Cincinnati, (-1.5), +/- 42

Min-price and averaging north of 9 FanDuel points a week, I’ll bet on the Eagles continuing to move the ball and keep this one close.

Chargers $4,500 – Tampa Bay @ San Diego (-3.5), +/- 47.5

Bosa is getting his legs under him, and that is leading to some consistent pressure for opposing QBs. Without any obvious, must-play matchups for DSTs this week, the Chargers seem a good bet to get some sacks and turnovers against the fearless Jameis Winston.
