Oh how nice it is to have a full slate again! There are loads of great matchups and values this week. Check out a few of my favorites.
Philip Rivers $8,000 - San Diego (-1.5) @ Carolina, +/- 48.5
We’ve got a pretty tasty matchup here with the bolo facing the the league’s 3rd worst passing defense. The Chargers offense continues to trudge along despite all the injuries, and they’ll continue to roll against a Panthers defense that is a shell of what it was last year.
Matt Forte $7,700 - New York Jets @ San Francisco (-2.5), +/- 43.5
Forte fans felt fantastic about this week 14 matchup against the league-worst Niners’ rush defense. Now, with rookie quarterback Bryce Petty getting the start, we should expect even more from the most under-appreciated fantasy back of our generation. Bet the farm on Forte in 14!
Kenny Britt $6,900 - Atlanta (-6) @ Los Angeles, +/- 45
Kenny Britt is one of the few bright spots for the Rams in their inaugural season in LA. With the generous Falcons’ passing defense coming to town, Britt should have no trouble paying off his modest price tag.
Ladarius Green $5,800 - Pittsburgh (-3) @ Buffalo, +/- 46
Watching Green last week took me back to the old NBA Jam days, HE’S HEATING UP! The Steelers offense has been waiting all year for a receiver to step up opposite Antonio Brown, and Green is taking full advantage of his opportunity now that he’s healthy. We’re in for a surprisingly high-scoring affair in frigid Buffalo this weekend. I want every piece of the Steelers offense I can manage, and Green is a great low-cost entry-point.
Josh Lambo $4,600 - San Diego (-1.5) @ Carolina, +/- 48.5
Lambo is near minimum price in one of the higher over/under games on the slate. I mentioned earlier that I expect San Diego to score early and often, that gives Lambo plenty of chances get you a few field goals.
Vikings $4,800 - Minnesota (-3.5) @ Jacksonville, +/- 39.5
I don’t see how you can get away from the Vikings defense against the new Matt Schaub
