rk1101, who is back after taking last week off, wins Week 9 by putting up 119 points. All entries had big totals after consecutive weeks with low totals across the board. Mike Evans(27), Jameis Winston(21), and Ezekiel Elliott(21) led the way for the winning team this week. Despite the strong RB duo (45 total points), Tcepnt could not overcome the QB risk he took. Being the only entry to not select Mike Evans certainly didn't help either. Punk is Dead remains the leader in total points and weekly average.
Under the rules of this contest, myself and Tcepnt are picking Week 10 without 72 possible options each. rk1101. who missed Week 8, will be without 64 options in Week 10. The choices have gotten more challenging. Ray Guilfoyle, who joined us for Week 2, and justin.j.gallant, who joined us for Week 6, will have the 8 players they chose removed from the available player pool should they rejoin us this week. For those new to the challenge, here are a few ground rules. The format is basic enough; construct a lineup using the following roster setup: 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1DST, & 1K. We will use standard ESPN scoring which is can be found here. There isn’t even a salary cap when setting the lineup!
What makes this challenge… challenging is that you can only select each player ONCE per season! That means if you pick Aaron Rodgers in Week 1, you CANNOT choose him again Weeks 2-17. Matchups play a HUGE part in this game, but so do injuries. Wait too long on using Le’Veon Bell and he could suffer an injury that leaves him unusable in your available player pool the rest of the season. We are using 2RBs and 2WRs per week to make it even more difficult.
For those joining us in Week 10, you have the entire pool of players at your disposal! We will have new winners each week! In addition to that, we will also have a season long total and a weekly average leaderboard.
