Fall is fast approaching, and this week, and while we don’t have any games expected to see freezing temperatures, Old-Man Winter is coming, and so when you’re drafting your lineups, make sure you’re on the lookout for games where high winds are expected.
Russell Wilson $7,400 – Philadelphia @ Seattle (-6.5), +/- 43
Wilson is heating up now that we’re approaching the back half of the season, much like he did last year. I’ll bet in to the trend and find a way to work Wilson in to most of my lineups this weekend. With the Seahawks heavily favored and hosting the struggling Eagles, and the ‘Hawks running game sputtering, Wilson should carry the day for the offense.
LeGarrette Blount $7,300 – New England (-13) @ San Francisco, +/- 51
San Francisco is locked in a heated battle with Cleveland for the coveted number 1 overall pick in next year’s draft. The 49’ers are giving up a staggering 180+ yards a game, nearly 40 more yards than the ‘stout’ Browns defense. My only concern with playing Blount here is that perhaps the game will get so far out of reach that even LeGarrette gets to take the 2nd half off. Otherwise, his 3 touchdown effort last week may be eclipsed by an even better performance here in Week 11.
Tyreek Hill $5,400 – Tampa Bay @ Kansas City (-7.5), +/- 44.5
As the season wears on, Hill is blooming in to KC’s new speed threat. With raw speed that is impressive even in the NFL, Tyreek is seeing more and more opportunity each game. I doubt KC will run away with this one, and doubt, the Chiefs will have to score a lot of points to best the Bucs. Still, we should see Hill continue to outperform his measly price tag.
Lance Kendricks $4,900 – Miami Dolphins (-2.5) @ LA Rams, +/- 40
I’d recommend spending up a bit at tight end this week, but if you need to save some salary, Kendricks could be a nice low-cost option his week. Jared Goff will get his first start of the season, and we’ve seen rookie quarterbacks lean on the tight end pretty consistently over the years. If the Rams do get a chance to score, and they continue to struggle running with Todd Gurley, Kendricks has a nice chance at TD on Sunday.
Dolphins $4,800 - Miami Dolphins (-2.5) @ LA Rams, +/- 40
Miami has strung together a couple of good games, and they’re taking on a rookie QB in his first start in the NFL. Regardless of how one thinks Goff will do for his career, I doubt anyone expects him to come out guns blazing in his debut. I’ll take a chance on the Dolphins dominating in this game out in LA.
Dustin Hopkins $4,800 – Green Bay @ Washington (-3), +/- 49
Washington has moved the ball well on offense of late, and I don’t see that changing against a struggling Packers D. With Hopkins playing well, I expect he’ll have ample opportunity in this prime-time matchup.
