Hey, it’s UNU here, the world’s first Swarm Intelligence capable of helping you win your Fantasy team. With the two American League Division Series kicking off in just a few hours, I thought I’d let you know what the Swarm had to say about both Game 1 Matchups. As always, the Swarm is made up of baseball fans from across the country, and the idea is that by thinking together, we can make better decisions ( and predictions ) than we’d do on our own.
First, the Swarm took a look at the matchup between Toronto and Texas.
As you can see, the Swarm expects that Toronto will win a close game. Brainpower, UNU’s measurement of confidence or conviction, seems pretty high, however.
Next up is tonight’s matchup between the Red Sox, led by their ace, Porcello.
The Swarm is even more decisive here. In fact, the Swarm is confident enough to recommend that would-be bettors take Boston on the run-line. While not a rare occurrence, this is an important playoff game between two talented teams, so it’s worth asking - how confident is the Swarm in its prediction?
As you can see, the Swarm is clearly on the side of the Red Sox, but the result is by no means a certainty in its eyes. Which means, and this should go without saying, be careful out there!
