This week there will be a lot of overlap with the players that I am using in my cash game lineups. This is a week where I feel that those who are considered safe actually have quite a bit of upside. So with that, let’s take a look at one of the GPP lineups I am using this week.
Tom Brady $9,100:
Since returning, Brady has posted an average of 28.44, with a low of just 27.24 FanDuel points. This week the Steelers defense will be the next team that will realize they just don’t stand a chance against him.
Rob Gronkowski $8,500:
This is the guy i will be pairing with Brady this week. Gronk has potential like no one else at his position. I am hoping that this will be his one game of the year that he scores 3 TD’s. Every year he has one of those games, and I think that might occur this week against the Steelers.
DeMarco Murray $8,700:
We just saw Lamar Miller torch the Colts defense on Sunday night, and he hasn’t been the only one. With the exception of one week against the Chargers, the Colts have allowed over 100 rushing yards to opposing Running Back’s. Murray has been consistent all year, and in a good matchup, there is no reason he can’t explode for another big game here.
Mike Gillislee $5,300:
I doubt McCoy is playing this week, so insert Mike Gillislee. If McCoy is out, Gillislee is a top play at this price because of the terrible Dolphins run defense. You mix that with the breakaway speed and ability to have big runs and you have a great GPP play this week.
Mike Evans $8,000:
With the exception of the game against Denver, Evans has scored a TD in every game. During those games he has averaged just over 19 points. We have yet to see Evans have that great 150+ yards and 2 TD, but against a bad 49ers defense, this should be the week we see it happen.
Pierre Garcon $6,100:
With Jordan Reed out last week, Garcon was targeted 11 times. He turned those 11 targets into 6 receptions for 77 yards. That was against a very good Eagles secondary. This week we will be seeing Garcon go up against a Lions secondary that has been letting people do whatever they want. With Reed out again Garcon should make the most of his opportunity. Oh and DeSean Jackson might also sit this game leaving Garcon as a big volume play.
Breshad Perriman $5,400:
With Steve Smith out last week, Perriman saw his targets increase to 8. This week Smith will be out again, allowing Perriman to be thrust into a prominent position. The Jets have done a great job of defending the run this year, but have been the opposite against the pass. We have seen the Jets struggle to defend the deep ball, and if there is one thing we know about Perriman, it is that he is flat out fast. I am hoping that this is the one pick that will separate me from the rest of the competition to score big.
New England Patriots $4,400:
Landry Jones in the one game last year he threw the ball more than 20 times he threw 2 INT’s. I suspect the Patriots to score a lot, forcing Jones to throw the ball, allowing more opportunities for the Patriots to force some turnovers.
Will Lutz $4,500:
He is minimum priced on an offense that doesn’t find the endzone as much on the road. He should have no trouble making a few field goals in this one.
