Here we are again, at that slightly melancholy moment when we collectively acknowledge that a third of the fantasy football season is behind us. Sigh. At least we have Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski back. And Jimmy Graham. The tight end position, once left for dead, may be on the rise again. We shall see. Let’s hop to it.
Greg Olsen
Rob Gronkowski
Delanie Walker
Jimmy Graham
Travis Kelce
Rob Gronkowski missed Friday’s practice with an illness. It was already close between him and Olsen, and right now I’m giving a slight edge to Olsen as the top choice.
Martellus Bennett
Jason Witten
Dennis Pitta
Julius Thomas
Zach Miller
Hunter Henry
Zach Ertz
Dez Bryant is legitimately questionable this week, and it would be surprising if he played. The Packers have been solid against the run, so all signs point to Dallas throwing more than usual. Witten isn’t generally an upside play, but this week seems like an exception. I’ll be working him into my DFS lineups, especially on PPR sites.
Jesse James
Gary Barnidge
Coby Fleener
Charles Clay
C.J. Uzomah
Antonio Gates
Richard Rodgers
Jacob Tamme
No Tyler Eifert means C.J. Uzomah will be a top streaming option this week. If the Patriots succeed in taking away A.J. Green, the middle of the field should be open for Uzomah (and perhaps Gio Bernard). Uzomah has an excellent chance to have his best game as a professional this weekend.
Vernon Davis
Virgil Green
Dwayne Allen
C.J. Fiedorowicz
Will Tye
Lance Kendricks
Clive Walford
Vance McDonald
Austin Seferian-Jenkins
Niles Paul
Jordan Reed has not practiced all week and is in the concussion protocol. If he decides to play just a few days after experiencing fresh symptoms, I would be shocked. Vernon Davis has out-snapped Niles Paul by a wide margin and makes for low-end TE2 material against the stout Eagles defense.
