Week 1 Wide Receiver Rankings - PPR Leagues

Julio Jones finds himself atop my rankings for Week 1. The matchup with the Eagles is sure to be a high scoring affair and Jones will be right in the middle of it. Philadelphia let up the most 20+ yard pass plays (72) and 40+ yard pass plays (18) last season. With an unproven running game, Matt Ryan will be looking to give Atlanta's deadliest weapon the ball early and often.

Although I'm not too worried about Mike Evans' injury, I'm still playing it cautious. Lingering hamstring injuries always seem to come back up at the worst times. He is aiming for a Week 1 return, but if he is not 100%, Evans could see limited action (and that's never a good thing in the eyes of a fantasy owner). I expect him to play, but keep an eye on the injury reports.

The Arizona wide receivers are always going to be an interesting bunch in terms of rankings. In the overall scheme of the season, I have John Brown finishing over Fitzgerald in PPR leagues. However for Week 1, I expect Carson Palmer to look more to the sure-handed Fitzgerald than to Brown or Floyd.
