In today's episode, Joe and I discuss (briefly) the terms "responsible" and "culpable" as they mean before a court, then evaluate the recent ruling against Barry Bonds in his claim of collusion among the MLB teams.
A few quick notes:
1. The Arizona Diamondbacks considered signing Barry Bonds in the 2008 season, but eventually decided against it.
2. The final cost to Major League Baseball in the collusion cases of the 1980s wound up to be $280 million...and may have led to expansion that occurred in the 90s to offset those costs.
