Week 3 Wide Receiver Rankings - PPR Leagues

Christian Petersen/Getty Images

Need advice on who to start in you lineup? Nick Petraccione breaks down his Top-50 PPR wide receivers for Week 3.

After assessing all the performances from Week 2, and also looking back at Week 1, my list has drastically changed. The biggest change comes in the form of Brandin Cooks. I rated him as my ninth receiver last week, but now I am staying away at all costs. He hasn't produced what you would think the lead man in New Orleans would and now he faces a difficult Panther secondary. Most importantly, he may be without Drew Brees this week. If Brees cannot play, Luke McCown is next in line. Even if Brees is able to start, I'm only considering Cooks as a flex option.

Brandon Marshall is a guy I really like this week and breaks into my top-10. He has developed great chemistry with Ryan Fitzpatrick and has found the end zone in every game so far this season. Not to mention, he has a favorable matchup against the Eagles. Philadelphia has struggled to defend the passing game, they even struggled against a Dallas team without Tony Romo and Dez Bryant.

When it comes to Larry Fitzgerald, I'm all in. He is a must start this week in my book. He faces a San Francisco defense, which just allowed 369 passing yards to Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers. Fitzgerald has a team high 17 targets and is coming off a three score game against Chicago and I think he will add another touchdown this week. As far as PPR formats are concerned, Fitzgerald has WR1 value this week.
