As is the case every week in fantasy football, especially in Week 1, some unlikely running backs came through big for owners who might not have even been starting them. Danny Woodhead and Bishop Sankey scored multiple touchdowns. Most top tier guys produced for their owners, which is great because that's not always the case on a week-to-week basis. Will Week 2 come with big performances from unexpected guys, or will there finally be some consistency? Here's how I believe it will play out.

Marshawn Lynch faces off against a Packers defense that got torched by Matt Forte in Week 1...Matt Forte faces the Cardinals, who gave up massive amounts of receiving yards to Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson...Jeremy Hill is always a good bet for a touchdown or two...Adrian Peterson goes up against a Lions defense that gave up two touchdowns to Danny Woodhead...Justin Forsett was disappointing in Week 1, but look for him to bounce back strong against the Raiders...The Demarco Murray revenge game against his former team comes early this year...Mark Ingram gets a tasty matchup against what looks to be an awful Bucs defense, who couldn't stop Bishop Sankey...Lamar Miller had an underwhelming debut, but look for him to come back strong against the Jaguars...LeSean McCoy wasn't very good, but the Patriots defense got gashed by Deangelo Williams in Week 1, so the matchup is nice for a bounce back...Speaking of Bishop Sankey, he looked great against the Bucs, and the Browns defense shouldn't pose too much of a problem for him...Ameer Abdullah is an absolute stud, but you already knew that...Joseph Randle looked good on Sunday night, and has established himself as the lead back on the Cowboys...Yeldon and Martin face off against two defenses that gave up a lot of running back production in Week 1...Latavius Murray has a very tough matchup, but is operating as the Raiders every down back...C.J. Anderson didn't look good in a tough matchup, and got outplayed by Ronnie Hillman, evoking Montee Ball flashbacks for a lot of fantasy owners...Danny Woodhead is the Chargers running back that gets the most touches in general and in the red zone, but Melvin Gordon looked pretty good himself...David Johnson has a prime opportunity with Andre Ellington out and Chris Johnson a shell of his former self, and facing a weak Bears defense...C.J. Spiller is set to return for an offense that last week fed its running backs several targets, and gets a prime matchup against a weak Bucs defense...Frank Gore's Colts career did not start out as planned, and this week may not be much better as the Jets have one of the best front seven's in the NFL...LeGarrette Blount returns from his one-game suspension, but will have a rude welcome from the Bills dominant defense...Benny Cunningham might have another huge workload with Tre Mason and Todd Gurley most likely out, yet he will face a Redskins defense that held Lamar Miller very much in check...Even with Spiller back, there will be a role for Khiry Robinson every week; he's too talented.
