Week 1 Tight End Rankings - PPR Leagues

Not many people are very high on Tyler Eifert, but he should prove them wrong in week one. Against a shaky Oakland defense that will be busy with A.J. Green, Eifert should get a lot of targets.

Greg Olsen shoots to number two on my list simply because he is the only option that Cam Newton has. Kelvin Benjamin is out for the season and Devin Funchess is rumored to miss week one with a hamstring injury. That leaves Olsen virtually uncontested in targets. A lot of throws will come his way and he should make his owners very happy this week.

Zach Ertz is listed as questionable for the season opener due to offseason surgery, but was cleared to practice for the first time on Wednesday. Ertz is a game-time decision, but if he plays you have to like his stock against a porous Atlanta secondary. If he happens to be the only tight end on your roster, Brent Celek is a must own for this week just in case Ertz is a no-go.
