The Streamer Report provides you with daily starting pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.
Thursday's Streamers
Greene will be a regular on the Streamer Report until he is owned in more leagues. He is owned in just 2% of leagues right now, Greene was 4-0 with a 2.70 ERA in six road starts last season. You may ask why are you giving us road stats for Greene when he is pitching at home on Thursday. Right? Well, his road starts were away from the hitter's haven Yankee Stadium, so this stat should give you an indication as to what you can expect from him when he pitches at home this season. He should be owned in more leagues.
Kendall Graveman, Athletics vs Rangers
I am going to ride the A's pitchers at home this season, and Graveman is owned in 7.6% of leagues right now. He will be making his first major league start after a solid spring performance. I look for him to pitch well on Thursday afternoon.
Trevor Bauer, Indians vs Astros
Bauer is owned in owned in just under 10% of leagues right now, and I look for him to be the next pitcher to breakout under the tutelage of Indians pitching coach Mickey Calloway this season. Bauer put up a 26-1 strikeout to walk rate in 27.2 innings this spring, a huge improvement over his performance in 2014. I know spring stats mean nothing in most cases, but some stats can be a harbinger to a breakout season.
