Streamer Report for Monday: Duffy, Chen, and Leake

Ray offers you some options for streaming starters for Monday's games, including Danny Duffy, Wei-Yin Chen and Mike Leake.

Jonathan Dyer-USA TODAY Sports

The Streamer Report provides you with daily starting pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.

Monday's Streamers

Danny Duffy, Royals vs Twins

The Twins are having trouble hitting, let alone scoring runs, so I am riding Royals young lefty Danny Duffy on Monday. Last year, he went 7-8 with a 2.41 ERA in 18 appearances on the road. As of Saturday morning, the Twins have scored just 7 runs in their first four games of the season, hitting just .186-.261-.233.

Wei-Yin Chen, Orioles vs Yankees

The Yankees are coming off a big weekend series vs division rival Red Sox, so they could come up small on Monday night vs Chen. He went 8-4 with a 3.33 ERA in 16 road starts last season, but was 1-1 with a 4.91 ERA in two starts vs the Yankees last year. Ride Chen for a solid performance at home on Monday.

Mike Leake, Reds vs Cubs

Leake is owned in under 10% of leagues at the moment, but I am recommending him on Monday. The Cubs are struggling to hit and score runs thus far, scoring just 3 runs in their first three games, hitting just .140-.224-.198, but that could change this weekend in Colorado. Leake is 4-1 with a 3.35 ERA in eight starts vs the Cubs over the last three seasons.
