Streamer Report for Sunday: Alvarez, Colon and Hahn

Ray offers you some options for streaming starters for Sunday's games, including Henderson Alvarez, Jesse Hahn and Bartolo Colon.

Lance Iversen-USA TODAY Sports

The Streamer Report provides you with daily starting pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.

Sunday's Streamers

Henderson Alvarez, Marlins vs Rays

Alvarez's ownership percentage has increased to 26% on ESPN, so owners are taking note that he pitches great at home in Miami. I will continue to recommend Alvarez at home this season, as he was Kershaw-lite at home last season, putting up a 1.60 ERA in 14 starts. He won't strike out many batters, but he keeps the ball on the ground and limits the walks.

Jesse Hahn, Athletics vs Mariners

Hahn is owned in just 4% of leagues right now, but that should increase later in the season. Hahn pitched well in his first start of the season, limiting the Rangers to 3 runs on 7 hits, no walks and 3 strikeouts. While the three strikeouts were disappointing, he did induce 12 ground ball outs. He should fare well vs the Mariners on Sunday.

Bartolo Colon, Mets vs Braves

I will continue going against the Braves this season, as their lineup will have trouble scoring runs this season. Colon is coming off a solid Opening Day start, limiting the Nationals to one run on three hits, a walk and eight strikeouts.
