Streamer Report for Saturday: Cosart, Gee and Nelson

Ray offers some streaming pitcher options for Saturday's MLB slate, including Jarred Cosart, Dillon Gee and Jimmy Nelson.

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The Streamer Report provides you with daily starting pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.

Saturday's Streamers

Jarred Cosart, Marlins vs Rays

Cosart is owned in less that 1% of leagues right now, and gets to face the Rays in his first start of the season. Cosart is hoping to build on his strong second half of the 2014 season where he went 4-5 with a 3.01 ERA in 12 starts. Last season, he made two starts vs the Rays, going 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA, and I look for him to pitch well once again on Saturday.

Dillon Gee, Mets vs Braves

Gee is owned in less than 1% of leagues as well, and gets to face a Braves lineup that will struggle to score runs this season. In two starts vs the Braves last season, Gee went 2-0 with a 1.98 ERA, so I see him performing well on the mound once again.

Jimmy Nelson, Brewers vs Pirates

Nelson is making his first start of the season on Saturday, facing the Pirates at home. Nelson has the potential for a high strikeout total on Saturday, but will have to be a little more deceptive and limit the home run ball.
