Goals Against - a low ranking means they let in lots of goals (Calgary is letting in 3.32 goals against per game, they are ranked #1).
Goals for - the lower the ranking the more the team scores (Dallas is scoring the most goals for per game at 3.54 and is the number 1 ranking).
So you want to face a team with a low GA and a high GF. This is based off this seasons goals for and against, it will be updated as the season progresses to be a larger aggregate of this year.

Favorable Offensive Matchups:
Chicago Blackhawks: 3 games this week two on the road. Arizona, Colorado and Ottawa, all in the bottom 10 in the league in goals allowed (2.77 or more)
Anaheim Ducks: 4 games this week 3 of them on the road but all of them are in the bottom 8 in the league in goals allowed. 3 of them are in the bottom 4, maybe the Ducks can show their 2014 form this week? Could be a good week for Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf.
Los Angeles Kings: 4 games this week 3 on the road (seeing a pattern here?) 3 of them are against the worst 8 teams and a matchup against Calgary is always beneficial for your offense until the Flames figure out their goalie situation.
Unfavorable Offensive Matchups:
Buffalo Sabres: All 4 games are at home BUT three of them are against the toughest 4 defensive teams in the league. Washington is doing great with Braden Holtby and John Carlson are holding down a great goal stopping front.
Minnesota Wild: 4 games, 3 of them on the road. The last three St. Louis, Tampa Bay and Florida are all allowing fewer than 2.36 goals per game.
New York Rangers: 3 games all on the road vs. Nashville, Tampa Bay and Florida. Tampa Bay and Florida are allowing fewer than 2.34 goals.
Favorable Defensive Matchups:
Washington Capitals: 4 games, 3 of them on the road. The top defensive team has an easier week with all four teams in the bottom 6 in goals scored (2.35 goals or fewer). The toughest matchup is against the Blue Jackets who are in dead last in the league standings wise and are struggling with line combinations.
Los Angeles Kings: A good week for plus minus for guys like Anze Kopitar, Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli. Jonathan Quick will face Vancouver, Edmonton, Philadelphia and Calgary, the first three are in the bottom 11 in goals scored.
Detroit Red Wings: Jimmy Howard has had a rough recent stretch but the team has a favorable week. The first part of the week has double header against Minnesota and Winnipeg who are good but later they face Pittsburgh and Buffalo, two of the worst 4 in goals scored in the league.
Unfavorable Defensive Matchups:
Columbus Blue Jackets: two games against the #1 and #2 offenses in the league. Oh and their starting goalie is still out.
Boston Bruins: Two games against the #4 and #5 teams in the league. Rough week for Tuuka Rask.
Tampa Bay Lightning: 3 games against the top 6 teams in scoring goals. At least the games are all at home.
Florida Panthers: 3 games against the top 8 teams in scoring goals..also all at home.
