Another great week of matchup in the NFL, and another fantastic slate for FanDuel tournaments as well. I'll share my favorite GPP lineup below.
Tom Brady - $9,500
I don't mind paying up for Brady this week because of the values I can get elsewhere. With the Pats losing LeGarrette Blount, Tom will have to do it all. Against the Titans, I expect he'll get that done, and do enough to pay off his huge salary this week.
Adrian Peterson - $8,600
Peterson and the Vikings are hosting the Chicago Bears in an NFC North rivalry match. Peterson has put up some incredible games this year, and he is coming off of two rather pedestrian performances. I think AP bounces back this week at home, and we end up seeing vintage Peterson running roughshod of da Bears.
Denard Robinson - $6,300
Robinson will be filling in for TJ Yeldon this week, and he'll be on most of my rosters too. We've seen Denard look great in spot starts in previous years, and he appears poised to do that for us again this season. At this price, I just can't pass up on ole ‘Shoelaces'.
Tyler Lockett - $6,000
I'm betting the trend will continue with Russell Wilson finding Lockett and Baldwin running free behind the defense this week. Wilson's late season surge is making great values of his diminutive receivers, and Lockett's blistering speed makes him a big play threat anytime Seattle drops back to pass.
Willie Snead - $6,000
Snead continues to be a Brees favorite and Vegas expects the Saints versus the Lions Monday Night matchup to be fairly high-scoring. With Snead healthy, and a lot offense expected, I love to get Willie at such a great price.
Markus Wheaton - $5,900
This is the play that might sink the lineup. Wheaton looked amazing when Pittsburgh faced Seattle, and I think we'll see a similar performance when Denver comes to town. The Broncos will not be able to roll any coverages towards Wheaton with Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant on the outside, so we'll see a lot of Miller and Wheaton in this game.
Rob Gronkowski - $8,500
He's the best tight end in the league, one more week removed from his knee injury, and he's Tom Brady's most reliable target. I'm thinking the Pats crush the Titans this week, and I'm hoping we see one of those vintage Gronk, 150 and 2 TD performances.
San Francisco 49ers - $4,400
San Francisco has looked pretty good at home on defense. With backup AJ McCarron piloting the Bengals, I'm betting on a few mistakes from the backup QB. This will be a big game for the Bengals, with them either stepping up to the challenge and beating a team that, even with their 2nd string QB they should win, or starting the nose dive. Betting on the Bengals to fall apart in a big game has been good to me in the past, so we'll give it a shot here.
Mason Crosby - $4,800
With the Packers moving the ball well, and heading to the west coast this weekend, I'll throw Crosby in there and hope he gets a few chances to knock in some 3-pointers for me.
