Week 15 Wide Receiver Rankings - Standard Leagues

If you are still looking for rankings, this means you are still going in your fantasy playoffs. Every decision you make from now on can either keep your season alive, or it will cause it to come to an end just like that. With how great the position was last week, this week the WR position again could be the difference. Name value means nothing at this point. If someone has been struggling for awhile now (I am looking at you Emmanuel Sanders) or someone has a bad matchup (Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree) don't feel as though you have to play them. Their are better options this week. With that out of the, let's get to my rankings for week 15.

Sammy Watkins - It seems as though Watkins is just lined up with great matchup after great matchup. This week he gets to face a weak Redskins secondary. For the past 3 weeks, Watkins has totaled 348 yards and 4 TD's. Something along the lines of a 100 yard and 1 TD performance can be expected from him here, with the upside to put up the best performance out of the group. While I would love for Watkins to have more targets, that seems like nitpicking with him at this point, which is the only reason he is ranked behind the guys in front of him.

Arizona Cardinals Receivers - With the matchup against the Eagles this week, I see all three guys being good to start. While most weeks only two at most usually are able to put up starter worthy numbers, I see that changing here. Even if it doesn't change, I don't have the slightest clue as to which one would be left out of the mix. I am comfortable starting all three guys, as the Eagles have allowed the second most points to opposing WR's so far this year. In addition to that, Palmer has been spreading the ball around so much that there is plenty of work for all three to be successful in this matchup.

Golden Tate - Welcome back Golden Tate! It has taken me a long time before I felt I could trust you again. It also doesn't hurt that you are facing the Saints this week either. Both of those factors are what led to Tate rising almost twenty spots from last week. In the last four games Tate has averaged 8 receptions, just over 60 yards, and scored a total of 3 TD's. I think the TD's aspect of his game is a bit of an anomaly however. 2 of those scores came last week in a game where we saw Calvin Johnson only get one reception. The yardage and receptions however I think are starting to stabilize. For this week he is a nice high floor guy, with some upside due to the terrible defense that is the Saints he is facing.

Kamar Aiken - All this guy has been doing for the past 6 games is getting his volume of receptions. Over that span he has had at least 5 receptions in each game. What holds him back from being higher is the lack of TD's. During that 6 game span, he has only reached the endzone twice. As we saw last week, it doesn't matter who his QB is at this point, as he will get his targets regardless. That is to be expected as he is the only healthy receiver on the team who can be trusted at this point. You are going for safety with this pick, as the upside isn't quite as great as it is with the other receivers.

Travis Benjamin - This ranking would have been much higher if it were not for the fact that the Browns are facing the Seahawks. We saw Manziel last week throw the ball well, however Brian Hartline was the biggest beneficiary. Well Hartline is out for the year now, meaning Benjamin is the only other trusted target on the team outside of Gary Barnidge. We have seen how good Benjamin can be when he is the main guy, but again this matchup is almost too tough. Benjamin is going to be your high upside play if you need that kind of player, however don't be surpised if he gets held to 20 yards though in the end.
