Week 12 GPP Lineup by @NFLClark

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

We’ve got  a limited slate this weekend for the Sunday through Monday games, coming off of a Thanksgiving day triple header. There are still plenty of good plays left out there, I’ll share my favorite GPP lineup for the week below.

Quarterback

Ben Roethlisberger - $7,800

Big Ben is a steal here below 8k. Roethlisberger has looked great, and I am not afraid of the once vaunted Seattle defense. The Steelers have too many weapons, and I think we end up seeing a rather high-scoring affair between these two teams desperate for a win.

Running Back

Thomas Rawls - $6,300

Playing on my hunch that the Pittsburgh vs. Seattle game will be a lot of offense, I love Rawls here at this price. Rawls has shown he has at least enough to be a serviceable back, and with Marshawn Lynch sidelined, Rawls should see plenty of work.

Alfred Blue - $5,900

There are cheap, starting running backs all over the place this week on FanDuel. I am not sold on Blue as an Arian Foster replacement for the Texans, but there will be plenty of points to go around down in Houston this Sunday. Blue is seeing the volume you want, and I don’t think that the Saints firing of Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan is going to revitalize the New Orleans D. Crossing my fingers here, hoping Blue falls in the end zone a couple of time to go along with his 30 carries for 85 yards.

Wide Receiver

DeAndre Hopkins - $9,400

Again, Houston vs New Orleans, lots of points. Hopkins, best receiver in the league right now and his quarterback and offensive coordinator know it. Nuke.

Odell Beckham Jr. - $9,100

The Giants face Washington this weekend, I doubt we see 2 yards and a cloud of dust from the Giants offensively. Washington’s D has given up plenty of points this year, and Beckham is just too good to hold down. There is plenty of TD potential in this game, I’m hoping Beckham grabs a couple of those for me this week.

Martavis Bryant - $6,700

Bryant is taller and faster than anyone he’ll ever see on defense, he plays opposite playing-at-a-hall-of-fame-pace Antonio Brown, his quarterback loves to throw it deep, and teams have to respect his team’s running game. Aside from it just being really fun to have Bryant in your lineup, he is always a threat to have a monster day (or give you 40 yards on 3 targets.) I love the price and the matchup is good enough for me to stack Bryant with Roethlisberger here.

Tight End

Jordan Reed - $5,800

Reed can always tweak his knee early in the game, but when he does get through a ball game, he usually puts up nice numbers. Reed is a Cousins favorite, and I expect the Giants and Washington game to be high scoring. I love taking Reed here at this price.

Kicker

Chris Boswell - $4,500

I had to go with a minimum price play here, and broken record, Seattle vs Pittsburgh, lots of points.

Defense

Kansas City Chiefs - $4,500

I knew I’d be strapped for cash, going with Hopkins and Odell, getting KC here for $4,500 really helps. The Chiefs have been playing great on D for a month now, and Buffalo seems to be going the wrong way on both sides of the ball. Even if the Bills do find a way to win, I think KC gets a few sacks, a turnover or two, and holds the Bills under 20.
