Week 10 Running Back Rankings - Standard Leagues

Your running back bible for Week 10.

Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

Finally, a week without catastrophic injuries and changes to the running back landscape. Will that good fortune continue this week?

Rank Player Team Opponent Analysis
DeAngelo Williams Pittsburgh Steelers CLE His fantasy points in three starts for Le'Veon Bell this year: 13.2, 27.2, 36.5. Gets the Browns terrible run defense this week.
Todd Gurley St. Louis Rams CHI Keep him rolling as a high-end RB1.
Adrian Peterson Minnesota Vikings @OAK AP gets what has been an underrated run defense in the Raiders, but they just got demolished by DeAngelo Williams and Peterson just gashed a very good Rams defense.
DeMarco Murray Philadelphia Eagles MIA Murray has been really good after a painful start to the year. Dolphins keep getting shredded on the ground, so this is another good spot for DeMarco.
LeGarrette Blount New England Patriots @NYG With Dion Lewis out for the year, this backfield is entirely Blount's.
Lamar Miller Miami Dolphins @PHI The Eagles are a tough matchup, but Miller has been en fuego since the bye week.
Mark Ingram New Orleans Saints @WAS Struggled last week, but still finished with 9.6 points and gets a better matchup this week in a crumbling Redskins run defense.
Chris Ivory New York Jets BUF Averaging 1.13 ypc over his last two games. Still scored twice last week, and Bills have given up six rushing touchdowns this year.
Darren McFadden Dallas Cowboys @TB He's getting a ton of touches and doing well with them.
James Starks Green Bay Packers DET Eddie Lacy is a figment of our imagination.
Marshawn Lynch Seattle Seahawks ARI Really tough matchup, but always seems to play better at home.
Doug Martin Tampa Bay Buccaneers DAL Should bounce back this week after an absolute dud. "Should".
Justin Forsett Baltimore Ravens JAX The Jaguars run defense has been really hit or miss, but have given up a lot of touchdowns.
Charcandrick West Kansas City Chiefs @DEN Denver has given up three total touchdowns to running backs over the last two weeks. West was really getting going before the bye week.
Giovani Bernard Cincinnati Bengals HOU He's better than Hill.
Jeremy Langford Chicago Bears @STL Supposedly rough matchup, but he looked outstanding on Monday night.
LeSean McCoy Buffalo Bills @NYJ Has been good last three games, but is a little banged up again.
T.J. Yeldon Jacksonville Jaguars @BAL He's been impressive as both a runner and pass-catcher.
Antonio Andrews Tennessee Titans CAR Operated as the bell-cow, and should again this week.
Chris Johnson Arizona Cardinals @SEA Brutal matchup.
Ryan Mathews Philadelphia Eagles MIA He's been a big play machine, doing a lot with his limited touches.
Jonathan Stewart Carolina Panthers @TEN Looks healthy, but his weekly output is up and down. Gets an underrated Titans run defense this week.
Jeremy Hill Cincinnati Bengals HOU Will continue to get 15 or so carries, but it's just not happening for him right now.
C.J. Anderson Denver Broncos KC I don't understand this Broncos backfield.
Charles Sims Tampa Bay Buccaneers DAL Keeps getting consistent work as Doug Martin's change of pace guy.
Duke Johnson Cleveland Browns @PIT Has established a nice floor as one of their top pass game options. Needs more carries.
Shane Vereen New York Giants NE The Shane Vereen revenge game is upon us.
Alfred Blue Houston Texans @CIN Should get the bulk of the carries, but hasn't been very effective with them all year.
Karlos Williams Buffalo Bills @NYJ He's been dominant whenever he's on the field, but McCoy will play and this is easily his toughest matchup.
Eddie Lacy Green Bay Packers DET Eddie Lacy is a figment of our imagination.
Matt Jones Washington Redskins NO The Saints can easily be run on, but who knows who it will be from the Redskins to do it.
Joique Bell Detroit Lions @GB Got the most work in the game before the bye week. We'll see if that continues.
Ronnie Hillman Denver Broncos KC I don't understand this Broncos backfield.
Isaiah Crowell Cleveland Browns @PIT With Robert Turbin gone, this is his backfield to do nothing with.
Theo Riddick Detroit Lions @GB The Lions will probably be throwing for most of the game.
Alfred Morris Washington Redskins NO The Saints can easily be run on, but who knows who it will be from the Redskins to do it.
C.J. Spiller New Orleans Saints @WAS His usage is very low.
Ameer Abdullah Detroit Lions @GB They may or may not use him. We don't know at this point.
Andre Ellington Arizona Cardinals @SEA Barely an option.
James White New England Patriots @NYG Reportedly the top candidate to replace Dion Lewis. I'll believe it when I see it.
Rashad Jennings New York Giants NE This backfield is an absolute mess.
Dexter McCluster Tennessee Titans CAR His 3 yard runs on 3rd and 16 draws are fantastic to watch.
Ka'Deem Carey Chicago Bears @STL Should get a few touches, but Langford will dominate the work.
Chris Thompson Washington Redskins NO The Saints can easily be run on, but who knows who it will be from the Redskins to do it.
Javorius Allen Baltimore Ravens JAX Is strictly Forsett's backup.
Orleans Darkwa New York Giants NE This backfield is an absolute mess.
Bilal Powell New York Jets BUF Might be back this week to resume his passing down role.
Darren Sproles Philadelphia Eagles MIA Will benefit if the Dolphins get a lead.
Chris Polk Houston Texans @CIN Might get around 5-7 touches.
Christine Michael Dallas Cowboys @TB Didn't even get a snap last week, but McFadden will need a play or two off at some point, right?
