FanDuel Week 8 GPP Lineup by @NFLClark

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

Week 8 is underway and on the horizon. I'll share my favorite FanDuel GPP lineup for their main slate below. I was really surprised with how this team shook out, saving some salary on running back let me take advantage of some nice wide receiver value.

Cam Newton, $8,000

The hope here is that the Panthers end up in a shootout on Monday Night Football. Cam should have to carry the offense again this week, and he should be able to do that against Indy. Hoping  that Cam can punch in a few touchdowns and lead a come from behind victory for FanDuel lineup.

Running Back

Justin Forsett, $6,900

Forsett will likely be highly owned this week, and for good reason. The Ravens will want to run against San Diego, and the Chargers defense has been accommodating to opposing running backs so far this year.

Danny Woodhead, $6,100

Woodhead keeps performing well, and so I'll keep paying his modest salary. Regardless of how the game goes, Woodhead has value regardless of game script and his price is so, so low.

Wide Receiver

Alshon Jeffery, $ 7,700

Jeffery hit the ground running in his first game back from injury last week, and I expect that to continue this week. I want in on Jeffery while he's still priced so low.

AJ Green, $8,200

Green is fairly priced and primed to put up a good performance against the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers give it up through the air, and I think Dalton will lean on Green to keep the Bengals on their winning streak.

Martavis Bryant, $7,200

Bryant is another receiver that hit the ground running in their debut. I expect Ben Roethlisberger to be back this week, and I expect Bryant to continue posting great numbers. I'm betting here that the Steelers will get in to a shootout with the Bengals, with Bryant and Green getting deep early and often.

Tight End

Greg Olsen, $6,400

Olsen is the best option for Newton, and I'm thinking Olsen gets free against a shaky Colts defense. It's been feast or famine for Olsen so far this year, hoping he eats against the Colts on MNF.

Josh Brown, $4,700

I think the Giants and Saints score a lot of points this week. So, why not Brown?

Carolina Panthers, $4,800

As you can see, I am putting a lot on the Panthers on Monday Night. Luck has been surprisingly awful this year, and Carolina's defense is for real.
