Goals Against - a low ranking means they let in lots of goals (Columbus is letting in 4.86 goals against per game, they are ranked #1).
Goals for - the lower the ranking the more the team scores (Boston is scoring the most goals for per game at 4.13 and is the number 1 ranking).
So you want to face a team with a low GA and a high GF. This is based off this seasons goals for and against, it will be updated as the season progresses to be a larger aggregate of this year.

Number of games this week:
4 games: Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers, Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks.
3 games: Anaheim Ducks, Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche, Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers, Montreal Canadiens, NY Islanders, NY Rangers, New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins, San Jose Sharks, St. Louis Blues, Tampa Bay Lightning and Washington Capitals
2 games: Arizona Coyotes, Buffalo Sabres, Carolina Hurricanes, Minnesota Wild, Nashville, Predators
Favorable Offensive Matchups:
Carolina Hurricanes - Two home matchups against Dallas and Ottawa. Ottawa is allowing a 5th worst 3.33 GAA. Maybe a good week for Kris Versteeg, Justin Faulk and Eric Staal to add some points?
Winnipeg Jets - 2 games on the road against a porous Toronto (4th worst 3.5GAA) and Ottawa. One game at home against an average Flyers defense.
Montreal Canadiens - All three games are at home - Ottawa, NY Islanders (10th best at 2.44GAA) and Boston who is allowing a 3rd worst 3.63GAA.
Unfavorable Offensive Matchups:
Boston Bruins - 3 of their four games are away this week. All four teams (Dallas, Washington, Montreal, NY Islanders) have allowed fewer than 2.7GAA this season.
St. Louis Blues - 1 home game against LA who has found their defensive touch, two on the road against a defensively solid Blackhawk team and Predator team.
Los Angeles - 4 games this week (at Chicago, at St. Louis, vs. Columbus, vs. Florida) The Columbus is easy but the other three have allowed fewer than 2.25GAA
Favorable Defensive Matchups:
Vancouver Canucks - Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, at Buffalo and at New Jersey - none of these teams have above a 2.4GFA. All opponents just struggling to find their scoring touch. This could be a good week for Ryan Miller.
Chicago Blackhawks - LA, St. Louis, Edmonton and at New Jersey. St. Louis is above average, the rest are all below 2.41 GFA. When Edmonton is your tough offensive matchup, you have a favorable week.
Edmonton Oilers - Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Chicago. This should be a terrifying matchup but none of them have put a formidable offense together at this point in the season. Cam Talbot will get a chance to excel this week.
Unfavorable Defensive Matchups:
Carolina Hurricanes - Go with their offense...not their defense. Dallas and Ottawa are on fire on offense behind powerful top lines. The Hurricanes get to battle this.
Montreal Canadiens - If possible, avoid the defense this week (but probably leave Price in). Ottawa, NY Islanders and Boston all have above 3.2 GFA.
Boston Bruins - Dallas, Washington, Montreal and NY Islanders are all among the top 5 scoring teams right now.
