FanDuel/SB Nation $2,000,000 Fantasy Football League: Week 4

How fitting is it that in week four we get a quadruple header? This is affecting the @FanDuel DFS slates this weekend, so make sure you pay attention to which teams are playing and when while setting your lineup. For this article, I'll be focusing on the ‘Sunday Million' slate, (that is all the games starting at 1PM Eastern and closing with Monday Night Football's Detroit at Seattle matchup.

Quarterback

Cam Newton - $8,300

The Cadillac play this week is Cam Newton. While it's always tempting to get Aaron Rodgers in your lineup, and I certainly wouldn't talk you out of it, I don't think the Forty-Niners push Green Bay enough to force Rodgers to really score.

On the other hand, Cam should be able to run roughshod over the struggling Bucs. The Panthers are constantly searching for a rhythm offensively, so I don't think they'll have the luxury of getting up early and rushing the clock away. I've got the Panthers spanking the Bucs, and Cam leading the charge.

Phillip Rivers - $7,400

If you're looking to save a few dollars at quarterback, but don't want to take a total shot in the dark, Phillip Rivers at home versus Cleveland is the cheapest QB I feel comfortable with this week. At $7,400, he marks the end of the line for me at QB.

Ryan Mallet - $6,300

If you're determined to get the cheapest quarterback possible, Mallet is the best option. The Falcons are going to put up points, and Mallet is willing to chuck it deep. For his price, he has been serviceable in DFS. But, as mentioned earlier, I'm more comfortable spending up a QB this week.

Running Back

Jamaal Charles - $8,700

Charles has been nice and consistent this year. With Alex Smith continuing his boycott on downfield passing, Charles has to carry this offense. He's pricey, but he's also highly likely to hit at least two-times value (that is, he will score 2Xsalary).

Latavius Murray - $7,500

I was a Murray hater to start the year, but he's proved me wrong. Murray has looked good, and his price is creeping up due to his efforts. The Raiders, in general, are much improved this year, and did I mention that the Raiders are playing the Bears this week? Murray is going to end up as my RB1 in most lineups this week.

Karlos Williams - $6,300

With McCoy out, Williams should see the bulk of the carries this week for the Buffalo Bills. While the visiting New York Giants have surrendered the second fewest rushing yards this year, the Giants have been torched through the air by their opponents. I expect the Bills to look to establish the run, and Tyrod Taylor's rushing threat to open some big holes for Williams.

Ryan Matthews - $5,900

Matthews had a great week last week, and he's a bargain this week. While Murray may come back and eat in to Matthews' workload, the running back situation is Philadelphia is, at best, undetermined. Matthews could end up handing in another banner day if last week was the Eagles first step to recovering their season.

Wide Receiver

AJ Green - $8,400

I'm not just chasing points from last week recommending Green here. The Chiefs have given up the fourth most passing yards this year. With Green establishing ‘yes I am still amazing', I don't see Dalton shying away from any defensive matchup the Chiefs might throw AJ's way.

Larry Fitzgerald - $7,400

Fitzgerald and Palmer have been muy simpatico so far this year. The Cardinals have been one of the best offenses, and they host the Jekyll and Hyde St. Louis Rams this week. I love Bruce Arians, Carson Palmer, Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown... I just love the Cardinals this year. I expect they continue to roll, and Larry reminds us again how great he truly is.

Ted Ginn Jr. - $5,500

Ginn has a nice price this week with the Panthers facing off against the Bucs. Ginn is the number one wide receiver in Carolina, and I expect Cam is going to have a huge day. If Ginn can just haul in one of those long touchdown passes this week, he'll be a great add on your FanDuel lineup.

Ty Montgomery - $4,700

Montgomery is expected to see more in the receiving game this week with Davante Adams sporting a walking boot. Any receiver that is going to see snaps for Green Bay has tremendous upside. If you have to find a bargain basement guy to balance out your lineup, Montgomery is the man.

Tight End

Greg Olsen - $6,300

No Gronk this week, so we'll look to Olsen as the safest, high upside play. Cam finally remembered that Olsen was his best receiver last week, and I expect that to turn in to a trend. If you've read this far, you know I am all over the Panthers manhandling the Bucs this week, and this is another guy I think will have a big game.

Jordan Reed - $5,600

Reed has started well in 2015. Of course, it is always hard to bet on a Kurt Cousins receiving option. With Washington hosting the Eagles, I expect Cousins will have to throw to keep up. If Reed adds a touchdown to his nice yardage numbers, he'll end up a top 5 tight end this week.

Kicker

Brandon McManus - $4,900

McManus is playing at home in Mile High this week, and we know the kid has a great leg. Those 50+ yard field goals are 5 points on FanDuel, and McManus is pounding those long kicks right down the middle this year. I think it is worth spending a couple hundred above the minimum to take a guy with the long distance potential McManus has.

D/ST

Oakland Raiders - $4,500

This will be a trend this year. "Who is playing Chicago this week?" Insert them in to your lineup.

Arizona Cardinals - $5,000

If you have some extra cash, and don't want to play Oakland, then Arizona is a nice alternative. The Cardinals D has looked as good as their offense this year, and St. Louis looks absolutely horrible on offense. The Cardinals could pitch a shutout today, but they are, if nothing else, in line for a few turnovers and sacks.
