Heath drops some Week 7 tight end knowledge.

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

Last week Russell Wilson finally found his big tight end, as Jimmy Graham rumbled his way to 140 yards on eight receptions (12 targets). Benjamin Watson came out of nowhere for a top two finish, reminding us all that Atlanta is not very good against opposing tight ends.

Rob Gronkowski only finished as the sixth-best tight end despite seeing just five targets for the second straight week. A vintage Gronkowski explosion seems imminent, as he will surely begin to command more targets and all signs point to Darrelle Revis spending much of his time shadowing Julian Edelman on Sunday.

No Jamaal Charles and a losing effort against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6? Still only seven targets for Travis Kelce, who finished as the 13th-best tight end last week. There may not be a more frustrating situation in fake football. Kelce has a prime opportunity in Week 7 if Jeremy Maclin misses with a concussion. If that happens and Kelce doesn't see more looks in the passing game, I am likely quitting "Zeus" for a looooong time.

Week 7 is the week of Antonio Gates against the Oakland Raiders! Woo woo! The man who has returned from suspension with a vengeance gets to face a truly crap defense. Gates has as much of a chance to go boom this week as any other tight end.

Finally, with Percy Harvin and Sammy Watkins expected to miss Sunday's game against Jacksonville, Charles Clay is among the safest of bets in Week 7. All the news on Tyrod Taylor this week has been positive, so I am not shy about slotting Clay into my top tier this weekend. Good luck, gamers.
