Six Waiver Wire Adds for Week 6

It may just be a one-week thing, but I've changed the format to remove the sorting by position. This week, there aren't any tight ends I like off the top of my head, although I'm intrigued to see what Gary Barnidge does against Denver. The same goes for Josh McCown or Johnny Manziel, whoever starts. And if he is still available, I would add Allen Hurns above the last two guys on this list.

1. Willie Snead

Marques Colston is out with a separated shoulder, but his health wasn't in the way of Snead being a top add this week. Snead now has six or more targets in each of his last four games, and New Orleans has a fairly easy schedule the rest of the way in terms of pass defenses. You've already missed the window to buy low on Brandin Cooks, who scored a touchdown this week, but Snead is another way to get a piece of the offense.

2. Charcandrick West/Knile Davis

You should be weary about blowing your FAAB budget on one of the two Kansas City running backs behind Jamaal Charles, who is out for the year with a torn ACL. West had surpassed Davis on the depth chart, but both are expected to get carries. Meanwhile, the Chiefs have been looking outside the organization for help at the position. It is likely worth it to add one or both of them with a wait-and-see approach.

3. Joe Flacco

Coming through with a big fantasy day at the expense of Justin Forsett, Flacco rebounded well, as he should have in an easy matchup against the Browns. After watching Eli Manning post big numbers on this San Francisco defense, I think Flacco can do the same. He'll be a solid streamer play this week.

4. Colin Kaepernick

Let's not talk about Colin Kaepernick, formerly one of the most exciting NFL quarterbacks. Let's not talk about Colin Kaepernick, QB15 on the year with a 4:5 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Let's talk about Colin Kaepernick, the quarterback that gets to play Baltimore this week. Aside from any Super Bowl revenge game theories, this looks to be a great opportunity. Baltimore has allowed 350+ yards and 2+ passing touchdowns to Derek Carr, Andy Dalton, and Josh McCown this year and lost corner Will Davis for the year with a torn ACL.

5. Marquess Wilson

Wilson is likely only worth a start if Alshon Jeffery misses yet another game this week against Detroit. As one of Jay Cutler's top targets in Jeffery's absence, Wilson has six catches and 80 or more yards in each of the past two weeks. Even if Jeffery goes, Wilson could be a viable handcuff and flex play if Jeffery sits more games in the future.

6. Antonio Andrews

The Titans bye week likely caused many to forget about Andrews, who scored in his second consecutive contest on Sunday. I'm not sure I see the potential here, as he is not accruing many carries and rookie David Cobb may be back for the fantasy playoffs to steal carries. This is more of a play on Tennessee's schedule, as it plays many light run defenses over the rest of the season.
