Fantasy Football Week 3 D/ST Rankings

Which defenses should you consider sitting this week against tough matchups? And which teams have the best fantasy matchups this week?

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

This week is not the best for fantasy football defenses. If you have the San Francisco, Houston, or Carolina defenses, you're happy, but otherwise you're left with the tough choice of either dropping your defense for another or picking a streamer. And the streamers this week aren't so appealing. Be sure to scroll through the table for the matchups to stream and avoid.

Three matchups to stream

Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Dolphins have an underrated pass rush, and the Chiefs have a pretty rough offensive line. For now, I'm not scared of the KC offense, which is just bewildering with the playcalling, and now has an injured Jamaal Charles. The Dolphins also play the Raiders next week, if you want them for another week.

New York Giants vs. Houston Texans

I was high on the Giants prior to the season, and I'll probably have to throw in the towel if the defense allows an average of 30 points per week. However, this is still a juicy matchup vs. the Texans, and the Giants have actually played well against the run this season, so it's up to Ryan Fitzpatrick to beat them. I'll take my chances.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

This one is all about the matchup. I think the Colts are going to score a lot of points, and the Jaguars are going to score a lot fewer.
