The week has finally come to an end, but we have lots of baseball left this weekend. I hope everyone enjoyed a profitable week, and look forward to continue helping you guys win some cash. Since it's the last day of the week I will keep it short, and dive right in to the lineup.
All Players Prices Are Based On FanDuel Pricing
SP - Scott Kazmir, Oakland Athletics, $8,700 - We took the Oakland starter last night and he paid off, so why be irrational and switch it up today? It's the same squad Jon Lester faced last night, and Kazmir is a lefty as well. I haven't looked at the Vegas odds, but I assume the A's are the biggest favorites on the board.
C - Stephen Vogt, Oakland Athletics, $2,500 - Vogt showed signs of life last night with a two run jack, and with Kyle Gibson on the mound for the Twins I expect more of the same.
1B - Miguel Cabrera, Detroit Tigers, $4,700 - Miggy had the day off Thursday, which I assume is scheduled maintenance. Today he heads to Toronto to face R.A. Dickey - I'll save the jokes for twitter. Miggy has owned Dickey in his career and with the pitcher friendly park in Toronto I wouldn't be shocked to see him go deep.
2B - Stephen Drew, New York Yankees, $2,500 - It really seems like the 6-8 weeks Drew spent with the Red Sox was his spring training. Since he has joined the Yankees he has played very well. He gets a pretty good matchup against Trevor Bauer who can easily implode, and with the short porch in right a lot of good can happen.
3B - Adrian Beltre, Texas Rangers, $3,600 - Beltre has a .460 wOBA versus LHP at home. Two words to end this brief explanation - Brett Oberholtzer.
SS - Jimmy Rollins, Philadelphia Phillies, $3,100 - Rollins has more success versus RHP, and he gets to face someone he usually hits well off of - Bartolo Colon. Rollins is a player I like to target since he can produce points in many ways with his power/speed combo.
OF - Michael Brantley, Cleveland Indians, $3,700 - This is the easiest play of the night. Esmil Rogers makes his Yankees debut (as a starter), and that short porch in right seems perfect for Mr. Brantley.
OF - Denard Span, Washington Nationals, $3,400 - Don't expect homeruns from Span, but he is an on base machine, and when he reaches he causes anarchy.
OF - Mark Trumbo, Arizona Diamondbacks, $2,800 - Trumbo has quietly had a nice week average wise, but he hasn't hit a homerun. I am predicting a homerun today off Tyler Matzek, book it now.
As always please check lineups and weather conditions before rosters lock, nothing is worse than having inactive players on a daily fantasy roster.
