Thearon W. Henderson

The week is winding down.  It is already Thursday.  Before you know it I will be switching my focus to NFL, with that being said I need to start studying and preparing for a grueling season of football.  But before we shift gears from MLB to NFL, we got four weeks to focus on baseball and grow our bankroll.  Like most Thursday's there is a split slate, I focused on the night games as usual, and really like the lineup I was able to build.

All Players Prices Are Based On FanDuel Pricing

SP - Jon Lester, Oakland Athletics, $9,800 - Lester has a very favorable matchup against the Twins today.  The Twins rank in the bottom half in most advanced statistics versus LHP.  Lester has enjoy success in his career against the Twins, and I expect him to cruise to victory.

C - Miguel Montero, Arizona Diamondbacks, $2,500 - Montero has a huge advantage today against Jeremy Guthrie.  Guthrie's wOBA versus LHB on the road is a whopping .390.  Montero should be batting clean up, and I predict a great return on his price tag.

1B - Brandon Moss, Oakland Athletics, $3,200 - Moss' production has been quite mediocre as of late, but that will not cloud my judgment in using him tonight.  Moss should benefit greatly from Yohan Pino taking the mound, a pitcher who struggles against LHB.

2B - Kolten Wong, St. Louis Cardinals, $3,200 - Wong is a great DFS play anytime.  He hits for average, some power, and speed.  Wong can generate fantasy points in many ways; his versatility is key for both GPP's and cash games.

3B- Kyle Seager, Seattle Mariners, $3,000 - Seager at home against a RHP pitcher who shouldn't be in any major leagues team rotation sounds damn good to me.  Scott Carroll takes the mound for the White Sox, and although the Mariners offense doesn't scare many opponents, they do damage against RHP.

SS - Alcides Escobar, Kansas City Royals, $2,300 - Two words - Vidal Nuno.  Of course I had to take a player from the Royals when he takes the mound.  You guys have been reading my column for about four months now; even though Nuno has improved in the national league I think the Royals hit him hard.

OF - Adam Jones, Baltimore Orioles, $3,900 - Jones is my favorite play of the day.  He is in a hitter's park, against a LHP, and should have plenty of opportunities to abuse J.A. Happ.

OF - Matt Kemp, Los Angeles Dodgers, $3,700 - Kemp has been producing some big returns on investment DFS wise as of late, he is still very reasonably priced and is well worth the risk against C.J. Wilson tonight in Anaheim.

OF - Josh Reddick, Oakland Athletics, $3,300 - Reddick like Kemp has been on fire since returning from the disabled list.  He has a favorable matchup tonight against Pino, and I will not be shocked if he is our top point man tonight.

As always please check lineups and weather conditions before rosters lock, nothing is worse than having inactive players on a daily fantasy roster.

Come join me and other FakeTeam writers along with the whole SB Nation in some DFS fun, turn $2 in to $1200.
