I will keep the intro short and sweet.  Every team is in action tonight, and there are plenty of great options.  There are many directions you can go tonight, so pick and choose your spots carefully.  Good luck to all.

SP - Alex Wood, Atlanta Braves, $7,900 - I could easily tell you to go with Cueto, Hamels, etc... But I wont.  You don't learn anything by taking the top pitcher on the board.  In this case we have a great matchup for Wood, who faces the New York Mets, in their nice spacious stadium in Queens.  The Mets are one of the worst offensive teams against LHP, they have a high strikeout rate, add that to the fact that Wood is deceptive and you have a great value play.

C - Wilin Rosario, Colorado Rockies, $3,000 - I don't know what it is, but Rosario has Bumgarner's number whenever they face off.  I don't think a lot of people will be on Rosario today due to the fact that Bumgarner is a top option tonight.

1B - Adrian Gonzalez, Los Angeles Dodgers, $4,000 - Gonzalez is by far my favorite play of the day.  The Dodgers head to Arizona, which is a great hitters environment to face Trevor Cahill and the Diamondbacks.  I expect this game to be high scoring, and Gonzalez should be right in the middle of things.

2B - Robinson Cano, Seattle Mariners, $3,500 - The Mariners got stymied by Miles Mikolas last night, and I do expect better results today against the young RHP Nick Martinez.  Martinez's advanced metrics aren't pretty with a .393 wOBA versus LHB, Cano and company should feast on him.

3B - Todd Frazier, Cincinnati Reds, $3,200 - Frazier should prevail in this matchup against Travis Wood, given the fact that Wood has been know to be homer prone.  The Reds aren't a team I would advise to stack, but they got a few solid options tonight against Wood.

SS - Alexei Ramirez, Chicago White Sox, $3,000 - With a LHP pitcher taking the mound today for the Indians, you can almost best that Ramirez will be hitting lead off.  This increases his value considerably, and he makes an excellent play today at his price.

OF - Hunter Pence, San Francisco Giants, $3,800 - With the Rockies in town this week, you can expect them to have a lot of lefties starting for them.  Which makes Pence a target of mine.  Pence has had great success against LHP in his career, and has quite a good repertoire against Jorge De La Rosa.

OF - Christian Yelich, Miami Marlins, $3,800 - Yelich had a monster game last night, and I expect more of the same today.  Yelich is from Los Angeles, so it is sort of a home coming for him, which increases his motivation to produce.  His teammate Giancarlo Stanton is also from that area, so if you want to pay up for him, go ahead.

OF - Colby Rasmus, Toronto Blue Jays, $2,800 - I tried to keep the Jays bats to a minimum since they are cold as ice.  Rasmus makes a great tournament play since he is cheap, shouldn't be too highly owned, and could have a monster game against Rubby De La Rosa.

As always please check lineups and weather conditions before rosters lock, nothing is worse than having inactive players on a daily fantasy roster.
