We got a full slate of games tonight, with plenty of options. This is a "No Coors" edition, since you guys already know what to do when a game is played in Coors Field. I apologize for getting this entry in so late in the day, but better late than never.
All players prices are based on FanDuel pricing.
SP - Stephen Strasburg, Washington Nationals, $9,700 - A lot of decent pitching options tonight, but it is hard to fade Strasburg at home against the Diamondbacks. Strasburg's home/road splits are night and day and he comes in as the biggest favorite tonight.
C - Evan Gattis, Atlanta Braves, $2,700 - Although a small sample size, Gattis absolutely annihilates LHP. He has a .493 wOBA versus LHP on the road. His opponent Francisco Liriano seems to have gotten his stuff together as of late, but still has shown command issues.
1B - Adam LaRoche, Washington Nationals, $3,900 - This could be a perfect matchup for LaRoche, since Chase Anderson has struggled with the long ball historically. LaRoche has been raking for the past week, and I expect him to continue his momentum after last night's walk off home run.
2B - Howie Kendrick, Los Angeles, Angeles, $2,700 - Kendrick is too cheap for a 2B who bats behind Calhoun, Trout and Pujols. With Allen Webster taking the mound today, and that walk rate, you can expect men on base for Kendrick.
3B - Matt Dominguez, Houston Astros, $2,300 - Dominguez makes a perfect tournament play today for two reasons. One he's facing a left hand pitcher, and secondly he comes at almost a minimum price. Don't be scared to use Astro's tonight.
SS - J.J. Hardy, Baltimore Orioles, $3,100 - Hardy is starting to show his power again, and has a favorable matchup against Jose Quintana. Quintana is no push over LHP, but the Orioles have had his number through out his career.
OF - Ryan Braun, Milwaukee Brewers, $3,800 - Speaking of pushover LHP, J.A. Happ takes the mound for the Jays against the Brewers. Happ has been the opposite of push over as of late, but I difficult to pass on Braun at home against a mediocre lefty.
OF - Christian Yelich, Miami Marlins, $3,500 - You have seen a lot of Yelich on here as of late, and justifiably so. Yelich draws a favorable matchup against Miles Mikolas at home, and the runs shouldn't be hard to come by.
OF - Oswaldo Arcia, Minnesota Twins, $3,200 - More of a tourney play than cash game, Arcia is worth a look. He has two bombs in his last two games, and should be able to benefit off a matchup against Trevor Bauer.
As always please check lineups and weather conditions before rosters lock, nothing is worse than having inactive players on a daily fantasy roster.
