Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome back folks, we took the day off yesterday due to a split slate, and very poor options.  I didn't want to waste your time or money, so I just wasted mine.  Tonight is a different scenario though; there is a lot to like.  This article is 100% Coors Field free, I didn't want to throw in a bunch of Pirates/Rockies, by now you guys should know what to do with teams visiting Colorado, no point in beating a dead horse. A little off topic news is, I am going to try and get a NFL mock FanDuel lineup up this weekend if I have the time, if not I'll save it for a slow MLB day (possibly Monday or Thursday).  With that being said, enjoy your weekend, and enjoy today's picks.

All players prices are based on FanDuel pricing

SP - Alex Wood, Atlanta Braves, $7,700 - Wood draws a matchup against a Padres team that just dropped 13 runs on the Cubs.  I don't believe that offensive surge last night is something to worry about, considering the Padres are the bottom feeders in almost every offensive statistic possible.  Wood is a cheaper option than most aces today, but his matchup, and strike out potential definitely intrigue me today.

C - Miguel Montero, Arizona Diamondbacks, $2,800 - Montero has some great advanced stats against lefties, the most interesting one is his wOBA versus RHP on the road, which stands at .398 which is elite.

1B - Lucas Duda, New York Mets, $3,400 - Duda is overlooked big time, he has massive power, and has been really consistent since June.  Today he faces homer prone Yovani Gallardo who has given up 10 homers at home.  Duda like Montero crushes RHP on the road and his wOBA versus LHP on the road is .414.

2B - Jose Altuve, Houston Astros, $4,300 - Altuve isn't on this list for power.  He is on this list because he simply gets on base, and causes havoc.  His OBP versus LHP is simply ridiculous at .448.  Tonight he squares off against the Marlins and Brad Hand, a young lefty who has potential but is extremely raw; Altuve clearly has the platoon advantage.

3B - Kyle Seager, Seattle Mariners, $3,500 - Seager is a beast at home, with 13 out of 16 of his home runs coming at Safeco Field, there is clearly something to like here.  Tonight Gausman comes in to Seattle after being roughed up in his last outing, and although I am a fan of the donut eater, I just think Seager will take advantage of him.

SS - Jed Lowrie, Oakland Athletics, $2,600 - If I could I would write a whole article about how much I love the Oakland A's today against Jerome "I bet he gets pulled out after 0.2 innings" Williams - but I won't.  Lowrie and his teammates will annihilate Williams today, so don't think twice about inserting them to your lineup.

OF - Melky Cabrera, Toronto Blue Jays, $3,600 - I love taking players playing against their old teams.  Melky absolutely kills Yankees pitching, and he is currently seeing the ball very well, so that should add fuel to the fire.

OF - Justin Upton, Atlanta Braves, $3,800 - Not really much not to like about Upton, he is a streaky hitter, and he is on the positive spectrum of the streakiness.  He hits extremely well at home, and tonight he faces LHP Jessie Hahn.

OF - Adam Eaton, Chicago White Sox, $3,000 - Another player on fire right now, even though he has a jammed finger, Eaton is still raking.  Eaton draws an extremely favorable matchup against the very hittable Kevin Correa.  At this price point there is too much upside.

As always please check lineups and weather conditions before rosters lock, nothing is worse than having inactive players on a daily fantasy roster.
