I am not sure what is worse - no DFS for four days next week, or Lebron dragging out the NBA free agency? Yes folks the bad news is no DFS articles most of next week, the good news is I might surprise you with a special piece.  Tonight we have a full slate of games (minus the Cubs), and I think we got a bunch of great value tonight.  Please remember these picks are plays I think will do well, this isn't a carbon copy version of my lineup.  Hence why I don't only pick players playing at Coors.  Regardless, here is my last DFS article for the first half of the MLB season.

All players prices are based on FanDuel pricing

SP - Jeff Samardzija, Oakland Athletics, $8,100 - I do realize a win is far fetched going up against Felix, but I have faith in the Oakland offense.  This is a great contrarian play, especially for tournaments, Samardzija has double-digit strikeout potential, especially against a young Mariners team.

C - Jason Castro, Houston Astros, $2,600 - Not positive he will play since he's missed the last few games, but Castro's bat has come alive as of late (pre injury).  Tonight he faces John Lackey who is a great play tonight as well, but Castro is my favorite low cost catcher, just depends which Lackey shows up tonight.

1B - Paul Goldschmidt, Arizona Diamondbacks, $5,200 - I'm not really big on batter vs. pitcher picks, but this one is simply too hard to ignore.  In 26 at bats Goldschmidt has 15 hits, 7 homers, 17 RBIs, and 3 walks. It is difficult to fade those numbers.

2B - Brian Dozier, Minnesota Twins, $3,000 - Dozier heads over to Coors Field, which should be a nice little warm up for his home run derby appearance next week.  I like Dozier a lot, although he has cooled off as of late, he brings a power speed combo, and it doesn't hurt that he's at Coors for the weekend

3B - Evan Longoria, Tampa Bay Rays, $3,500 - Longoria has been quite disappointing this season, but the Rays bats are slowly improving, and today they play a struggling Blue Jays team and left hander Mark Buehrle.

SS - Asdrubal Cabrera, Cleveland Indians, $2,800 - A couple of Indians are on deck since they face Hector Noesi tonight in Cleveland.  Cabrera has a .334 wOBA at home, and these Indians are known to crush right-handed pitching.  There is tremendous value at the price, position and where Cabrera bats in the lineup.

OF - Michael Brantley, Cleveland Indians, $4,100 - Brantley is probably the best thing to happen to Cleveland this summer other than the Lebron rumors.  He is an absolute beast at home.  He has burned me all week, but I think today he has a big game.

OF - Drew Stubbs, Colorado Rockies, $3,500 - This is our token Rockies player at Coors.  He has a couple dingers this week, and faces a lefty that's being called up from the minors.

OF - Allen Craig, St. Louis Cardinals, $2,200 - I am not sure if Craig will play today, since he's been losing playing time like crazy.  But if he is I like his matchup against Gallardo.

As always please check lineups and weather conditions before rosters lock, nothing is worse than having inactive players on a daily fantasy roster.

Come join me and other FakeTeam writers along with the whole SB Nation in some DFS fun, turn $2 in to $1200.
