Elsa

Welcome to the special birthday edition of our DFS article.  Yes today is my birthday, and I am still bringing out the DFS goodness.  Talk about dedication - yeah I missed yesterday, I know.  Today is a real difficult schedule, only two aces are pitching tonight, and one is a lefty facing the Orioles - yikes!!!!.   Anyways lets try and win you guys some money on my birthday.

All players prices are based on FanDuel pricing.

P - Bartolo Colon, New York Mets, $7,500 - Colon is sadly the best option tonight not named Kershaw, I'll explain why.  He faces a Braves team that strikes out a ridiculous rate against right handed pitchers, he's at home in the spacious Citi Field, and Aaron Harang is the opposing pitcher.  Colon is also coming off a horrendous start, and should look to bounce back, no pun intended.

C - Alex Avila, Detroit Tigers, $2,900 - Avila has owned Jeremy Guthrie throughout his career.  Avila has three homers, 9 RBIs, and four walks - not to mention Guthrie generally struggles against lefty hitters.

1B - Mark Teixeira, New York Yankees, $3,100 - Teixeira is coming off a double dong game, and faces T.J. House a left-handed rookie.  Tex is historically a better hitter from the right side, and I expect him to be one of the more productive Yankee hitters tonight.

2B - Anthony Rendon, Washington Nationals, $4,200 - Rendon owns a .521 wOBA against LHP on the road, and faces a left-hander who gives up a ton of home runs.  He is very expensive but should return a significant value on the investment.

3B - Adrian Beltre, Texas Rangers, $4,700 - Another lefty masher, Beltre has a .421 wOBA at home versus LHP.  His victim today Hector Santiago, a pitcher I had high hopes for preseason, but realize he is nothing more than a swingman.

SS - Elvis Andrus, Texas Rangers, $2,900 - Another Ranger makes the cut tonight.  Andrus is criminally underpriced, and I do expect a price bump over the weekend.  He has a string of multi-hit games going on, and like Beltre he hits LHP very well.

OF - Jayson Werth, Washington Nationals, $3,500 - Yes I am going to pick on Wei-Yin Chen a bit today.  I do expect the Nationals lineup to do damage against him, and why not have the guy who hits 3rd in the lineup?  Him and Rendon should make a nice micro-stack.

OF - Josh Hamilton, Texas Rangers, $3,100 - Forget the lefty/righty splits, forget that Colby Lewis is on the mound, and forget the low price, there is only one reason he is in our lineup - REVENGE!!!!!!

OF - Matt Holliday, St. Louis Cardinals, $3,000 - Hollidays' price is almost as sad as the Cardinals offense, but have no fear Edison Volquez hits the mound tonight.  Holliday has a career .370 average against Volquez, which includes two dingers and five RBIS.

As always please check lineups and weather conditions before rosters lock, nothing is worse than having inactive players on a daily fantasy roster.

Come join me and other FakeTeam writers along with the whole SB Nation in some DFS fun, turn $2 in to $1200.
