DFS: FanDuel Top Plays For Friday June 27th

The daily fantasy grind never stops. Here are Dug Fister's recommended plays for Friday's FanDuel lineups.

TGIF!!!!! We are wrapping up our first week of FanDuel DFS articles, and boy has it been great.  I hope you guys enjoyed it so far, and I am still waiting for my bosses' approval to tell you what the big news is in regards to FanDuel, I am sure you guys will love it.  I will keep this intro short and dive right in to things today since I am sure you want to get your weekend started.

All players' prices based on FanDuel values.

SP - Justin Verlander, Detroit Tigers, $7,500 - I am going to have some faith in Verlander today, if he can't shut down the Astros, he doesn't deserve to be in this price tier.  Yes the Astros have improved offensively, but there is no reason Verlander can't get a quality start and win at minimum.

C - Dioner Navarro, Toronto Blue Jays, $2,900 - He didn't do much for us the other day, but he has a favorable matchup against John Danks tomorrow.  Navarro has great career numbers against Danks, and should benefit from being at home in his hitters park.

1B - Mike Napoli, Boston Red Sox, $3,600 - Vidal Nuno takes the mound for the Yankees in the Bronx tonight - you know what that means?  Grab as many Red Sox right-handed hitters as you can, starting with this guy here.  Napoli is a double dong threat, especially against a weak lefty in Yankee stadium.

2B - Dustin Pedroia, Boston Red Sox, $3,200 - As mentioned with Napoli, Nuno is a disaster waiting to happen, Pedroia doesn't posses as much power as Napoli but is very capable of putting up a great all around game.

3B - Evan Longoria, Tampa Bay Rays, $3,900 - Longoria bats .407 with 11 hits and 5 homers career wise against Chris Tillman, if that's not enough to convince you to take him I don't know what will.

SS - Brad Miller, Seattle Mariners, $2,800 - Miller is hitting the ball again, finally.  I love his matchup tonight against Trevor Bauer who has been decent thus far, but I think Miller has the advantage in this matchup.

OF - Michael Brantley, Cleveland Indians, $4,200 - The Indians have a very lefty heavy lineup, and they should run Chris Young out the game early.  There aren't many hitters better than Brantley against righties and this could be one those nights where the Indians explode for 10 runs.

OF - Curtis Granderson, New York Mets, $3,600 - Granderson is having a great June, and I don't think I've included him once in any of our pieces.  He has a favorable matchup tonight in Pittsburgh against righty Brandon Cumpton.  Granderson should go under drafted which makes him a sneaky GPP play.

OF - Gregory Polanco, Pittsburgh Pirates, $3,300 - The hype is real my friends, this kid is a star.  He hit his second homer yesterday and stole a base.  I won't be shocked if he continues playing like this rest of season, only problem is he will be priced so high it will be difficult to roster him.

As always be sure to check the weather in the city your players are playing in. Don't forget to check lineups either, nothing worse than having a rostered player on your squad that isn't in the lineup
