DFS: DraftKings Top Plays For Wednesday June 11th

The daily fantasy grind never stops. Here are our recommended plays for Wednesday's DraftKings lineups.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Today we got a nice little card with some awesome pitching, good hitting, and yes Gregory Polanco.  As you will notice I didn't include many players from the Atlanta/Colorado game (actually only used one), but that's because the readers should already know who to use from that game, and in what situation.  So lets get in to todays action.

All players' prices based on DraftKings values

SP 1 - Jason Hammel, Chicago Cubs, $9,700 - Calling Hammel a CY Young candidate thus far would be far fetched but, a 2.53 ERA, with 0.88 WHIP, and a 6-3 record is nothing to laugh at.  He has pitched extremely well against the Pirates, and is a must start in PNC Park tonight.

SP 2 - Hyun-Jin Ryu, Los Angeles Dodgers, $7,900 - I am not really sure why Ryu's price is depressed on DraftKings, he hasn't pitched poorly, and the Reds are terrible against lefties - sorry Jeff.

C - Chris Iannetta, Los Angeles Angels, $3,500 - When facing a righty pitcher I love using John Jaso, when facing a lefty pitcher I love using Iannetta, take about a perfect platoon.  Tonight the Angels take on Tommy Milone and the A's, Milone has been pretty good as of late, but he gives up a lot of homers,  Iannetta is a great punt at catcher.

1B - Adam Dunn, Chicago White Sox, $4,200 - Sneaky play of the day is Adam Dunn, when Freeman is going to be about 60% drafted you need to go with a player nobody will use, that has upside obviously.  Yes Dunn can go 0-4 with a golden sombrero, but he can also go 4-4 with 2 dongs, 2 doubles, and a walk.

2B - Ian Kinsler, Detroit Tigers, $4,800 - Kinsler has four homers off of John Danks, in 34 at bats, this can be a great pick, depending on which John Danks shows up.

3B - Ryan Zimmerman, Washington Nationals, $4,400 - Honestly I had $4,400 left to fill 3B, and Zimmerman was exactly $4,400 - I am not complaining.  Zimmerman has played fairly well since returning from his DL stint, and don't look now but the Nats might be at full health by July 1st.

SS - Andrelton Simmons, Atlanta Braves, $3,600 - I had to throw someone in from the Braves/Rockies game, if I didn't I'd get 20 tweets on why such and such isn't in the lineup.  Simmons hit a dinger last night, and depending on who is pitching tomorrow for the Rockies (unknown as of now), he could go deep again.

OF 1 - Nelson Cruz, Baltimore Orioles, $4,800 - Cruz has never faced Rubby De La Rosa, and he's in a bit of a slump, so I like this matchup for him to break out of his hardships as a hitter - poor guy only has 21 homers.

OF 2 - Torii Hunter, Detroit Tigers, $3,900 - Hunter might be my favorite player of the day, he has destroyed Danks in his career, and hopefully he has one last hoorah in him.

OF 3 - Gregory Polanco, Pittsburgh Pirates, $3,200 - Did you really think I wouldn't play Polanco today?  Yes I have Hammel as one of my pitchers, so lets hope Polanco gets a few singles and 4 SB with no runs scored.

As always be sure to check the weather in the city your players are playing in. Don't forget to check lineups either, nothing worse than having a rostered player on your squad that isn't in the lineup
