DFS: DraftKings Top Plays For Tuesday June 10th

The daily fantasy grind never stops. Here are our recommended plays for Tuesday's DraftKings lineups.

Jared Wickerham

If you took Lonnie Chisenhall last night - congrats, I had him in a few lineups but my pitching killed me.  Tonight is the debut of the Pirates top prospect Gregory Polanco, he isn't available yet on Draftkings so we will have to wait until tomorrow at least to plug him in to our rosters.  Tonight there is a full slate of games, and I focused on a few I like.  There are some repeat picks from yesterday, so hopefully they perform better today.

All players' prices based on DraftKings values

SP 1 - Corey Kluber, Cleveland Indians, $10,700 - Look for Kluber to bounce back after a mediocre effort last time around.  I blame the weather for his subpar outing, and tonight he squares off against the Royals.

SP 2 - A.J. Burnett, Philadelphia Phillies, $7,400 - You can take either Pennsylvania pitcher tonight (Francisco Liriano, Pittsburgh Pirates), and they should at the very least give you a quality start.  I like Burnett in this spot due to the fact that I could look like an ace against the Padres at this point.

C - Mike Zunino, Seattle Mariners, $3,200 - I love taking Zunino against lefties for two reasons - 1) He is cheap, 2) He hits them hard.  Tonight my favorite Yankees punching bag heads to the North West (Vidal Nuno), and I like Zunino here.

1B - Freddie Freeman, Atlanta Braves, $4,900 - I am going back to Freeman tonight because he did absolutely nothing yesterday, and I doubt he puts up back-to-back dud games.  Most visiting teams take a day or two to adjust to the altitude in Colorado, so ill chalk it up to that.

2B - Chase Utley, Philadelphia Phillies, $4,800 - Utley has a .366 wOBA against righties at home, and Ian Kennedy comes in to town.  Which Ian Kennedy shows up really dictates the result of this game.  Utley is a safe play for cash games, and isn't too pricey for an elite 2B.

3B - Trevor Plouffe, Minnesota Twins, $3,800 - I took Plouffe here since he has high upside against a below average LHP (J.A. Happ).  Rogers Centre is really becoming a Coors Field North so to speak, so don't be afraid to use visiting teams hitters, the Jays rotation isn't that special.

SS - Eugenio Suarez, Detroit Tigers, $2,000 - Punt play alert.  There might be major value here since Suarez is so cheap, and has show power in the few games he's been up.  John Danks takes the mound for Chicago and he has been pretty good as of late, but he still is John Danks.

OF 1 - Jason Heyward, Atlanta Braves, $4,900 - Like Freeman, Heyward didn't do much yesterday in Coors.  I expect a much higher scoring game today.

OF 2 - Melky Cabrera, Toronto Blue Jays, $4,800 - Cabrera was pretty quiet yesterday in the dramatic Jays/Twins game, so I expect him to be their top performer.  With Kevin Correia on the mound I expect the Jays to chase him out early.

OF 3 - Kendrys Morales, Minnesota Twins, $3,400 - To be honest I am not sure Morales has ever played a game in the outfield in his life, but DraftKings has him eligible here, so I will take him.  Low risk high reward play here.

As always be sure to check the weather in the city your players are playing in. Don't forget to check lineups either, nothing worse than having a rostered player on your squad that isn't in the lineup
