Streamer Report: Streamers for Monday and Tuesday

Ray highlights some starting pitcher options that you should consider streaming on Monday and Tuesday, including Jon Niese and Jose Quintana, Henderson Alvarez and Drew Hutchison. Just two picks for Monday's action and two picks for Tuesday.

Lisa Blumenfeld

The Streamer Report provides you with daily startng pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.

Monday's Streamers

My apologies for not publishing Sunday's streamers. This weekend was a busy one for me. Here are streamers for Monday and Tuesday. My favorite streamer, Nahan Eovaldi is now 60% owned in leagues now, so I will have to find another diamond out there. I will do my best.

Jon Niese, Mets vs Marlins

Niese faces Eovaldi in Miami on Monday night, coming off two straight wins and has given up just three earned runs over his last three starts. The Marlins have played very well at home this season, but in his three starts vs the Marlins last season, Niese was 1-0 with a 2.84 ERA.

Jose Quintana, White Sox vs Cubs

The Cubs are coming off a big home series vs the Cardinals and may be set up for a let down vs their city rival White Sox. Quintana is owned in just 11% of leagues right now, and has put up "quality starts" in five of his six starts this season.

Tuesday's Streamers

Henderson Alvarez, Marlins vs Mets

Alvarez is owned in just 2.2% of leagues right now and faces the Mets at home on Tuesday night. Alvarez limited the Mets to two runs on six hits in six innings back on April 25th, and went 2-0 with a 1.26 ERA in two starts last season.

Drew Hutchison, Blue Jays vs Phillies

Zack and I discussed Hutchison in the Sunday podcast. Hutchison is available in 96% of leagues right now, and is currently striking out more than a batter per inning. He has pitched to a 3.92 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in his six starts, and has given up two runs or less in four of his six starts thus far.
