Streamer Report: Streaming Options for Wednesday

Ray highlights some starting pitcher options that you should consider streaming on Wednesday, including Jhoulys Chacin and Ian Kennedy.

Joe Robbins

The Streamer Report provides you with daily startng pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.

Wednesday's Streamers

Indians starter Corey Kluber is starting on Wednesday night, but I don't like the match up vs the Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre. Kluber pitches much better at home, so it is better to stay away and reduce your risk tonight.

Jhoulys Chacin, Rockies vs Royals

Chacin is available in 99% of leagues right now and faces the Royals on Wednesday night. The Royals rank 24th in MLB in runs scored and rank 26th in runs scored at home. In 13 starts on the road last season, Chacin put up a 2.44 ERA, so he likes pitching away from Coors Field.

Ian Kennedy, Padres vs Reds

Kennedy is owned in 49.8% of leagues as of this writing, so he qualifies. Kennedy has pitched great this season and I am going to ride his streak, as he has given up three runs or less in all but one of his starts this season. The Reds rank 27th in the league in runs scored this season, so Kennedy is a solid play on Wednesday evening.

Weekly Streamer Performance

I will be providing a status of how my picks have performed over the course of the season, and below you can find how my picks fared this week. Week 6 was very good to me, and hopefully you, but Week 7 has started with a THUMP thanks to Tyler Lyons laying an egg vs the Cubs last night.
