Streamer Report: Sunday's Streaming Pitcher Options

The Streamer Report provides you with daily startng pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.

Sunday's Streamers

Jon Niese, Mets vs Phillies

Niese is available in about 63% of leagues right now, and faces a Phillies lineup that ranks 24th in runs scored this season. Niese has pitched very well this season, going 2-2 with a 1.82 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and a 30-9 strikeout to walk rate in 39.2 innings. He limited the Phillies to one run in seven innings two starts ago, and went 1-1 with a 0.57 ERA in two starts vs the Phillies last season.

Roenis Elias, Mariners vs Royals

Elias is owned in just 6% of leagues right now, but is flying under the radar in fantasy circles. Elias has pitched well this season, going 3-2 with a 3.27 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and a 37-19 strikeout to walk rate in 41.1 innings. He has given up three runs or less in six of his seven starts to date and gets the Royals who are struggling to score runs this season, ranking 22nd in runs scored and rank dead last in runs scored vs lefties.
