The Streamer Report provides you with daily startng pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.
Monday's Streamers
Monday's slate is limited to just eight games, so the pickings are slim, but here are a few guys to consider on Monday:
Scott Kazmir, A's vs Twins
Kazmir is owned in 39.5% of ESPN leagues, and will be looking to build on his first start of the season where he shut out the Indians on three hits over 7.1 innings. He went 3-0 with a 1.45 ERA in five starts vs the Twins in 2013.
Corey Kluber, Indians vs Padres
Kluber was a hot sleeper this offseason, but he got knocked around in his first outing of the season, giving up five runs and eleven base runners in 3.1 innings, so he will be looking to bounce back on Monday. He is owned in just 3% of ESPN leagues, so there is a good chance he is available in your league.
Vargas is owned in just 3.1% of ESPN leagues, and is looking to repeat his excellent first start of the season, where he limited the Tigers to just one run over seven innings. He went 1-1 with a 4.09 ERA in two starts vs the Rays last season.
