DFS: DraftKings Lineups for Monday, April 28th

The daily fantasy grind never stops. Here are our recommended plays for Monday's DraftKings lineups.

Ezra Shaw

It's a new week, but we still got the same goal - winning DFS money.  Tonights' card is quite small, only seven games, and two expect rain, so it was kind of difficult building a solid lineup.  I focused on four games for hitters, and avoided taking hitters that are facing our pitchers.

All players' prices based on DraftKings values

SP 1 - Justin Masterson, Cleveland Indians, $7,200 - At this price you can't go wrong with Masterson, he's good for a strikeout per inning, and has looked pretty decent in his last two outings.  Hopefully he can finally get a win against the Angels.

SP 2 - Madison Bumgarner, San Francisco Giants, $9,800 -
Bumgarner takes on the Padres at home.  I like Bumgarner, he's a high strikeout guy, who looked pretty good in his last outing against the Rockies.  The Padres are a team I love to pick on when choosing pitchers, and the other options tonight were either too expensive or too risky.

C - John Jaso, Oakland A's, $2,700 - DFS' favorite punt catcher.  Jaso actually hits well off Yu Darvish, who seems to struggle against Oakland for some reason.  I wouldn't advise an Oakland stack tonight, but a couple stand-alone guys for cash games won't hurt.

1B - Paul Goldschmidt, Arizona Diamondbacks $4,400 - Goldschmidt is one of the best hitters in the game, and he gets a present today - Franklin Morales of the Colorado Rockies.  This game has the highest over/under tonight.  I expect it to be a slugfest so don't shy away from stacking Diamondbacks and Rockies for GPP's.

2B - Matt Carpenter, St. Louis Cardinals, $4,000 - I knew the Cardinals were set to break out offensively, too bad I was a day late.  Carpenter and the "Red Birds" take on Yovani Gallardo and the hobbled Brewers tonight.  Gallardo does not pitch well against the Cardinals,  so I put in a couple of them in our lineup.

3B - Adrian Beltre, Texas Rangers, $4,200 - Beltre is fairly priced, and he could go off at any given time.  One of baseballs best hitting third basemen finally came off the DL on Friday, and I don't mind playing him in cash games.

SS - Troy Tulowitzki, Colorado Rockies, $5,600- Tulowitzki gets lefty Wade Miley tonight at Chase Field AKA "Coors JR".  As mentioned previously I like Rockies/Diamondback players, and Tulowitzki is the best option on the board.

OF 1 - Brandon Moss, Oakland A's, $4,200 - Yu Darvish has to hate Brandon Moss, it seems like every time they face one another, Moss belts a homer.  Moss is an easy play for me, given his reasonable price.

OF 2 - Matt Holliday, St. Louis Cardinals, $3,800 - Holliday has three homers, and eight RBIs against Gallardo in 30 at bats.  He is priced very cheap for a good hitting outfielder, even though he has had a bit of a slow start.

OF 3 - Carlos Gonzalez, Colorado Rockies, $4,100 - When Gonzalez is priced at $4,100 you take Gonzalez.  Even though it's a lefty/lefty matchup, Gonzalez has managed to hit pretty well off of Wade Miley.  When you can get a Bentley for the price of a Toyota you run with it.

As always be sure to check the weather in the city your players are playing in.  Don't forget to check lineups either, nothing worse than having a rostered player on your squad that isn't in the lineup.
