The Streamer Report provides you with daily startng pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.
Saturday's Streamers
Corey Kluber, Indians vs Blue Jays
Kluber is owned in 10.8% of leagues and should be owned in more, but he got hit around in his first start of the season. Since then he has given up just five runs in 13.1 innings, with a 14-0 strikeout to walk rate and induced 16 ground ball outs as well.
Colon got knocked around in his last start, giving up nine runs in five innings vs the Angels. I see him rebounding on Saturday vs the Cubs. in his first two starts of the season, Colon gave up just three runs on 15 hits in 13 innings.
Chen is owned in just over 1% of leagues and faces a hot Twins lineup on Saturday. Chen got knocked around in his last outing vs the Twins, so he will be looking to rebound off of that bad start where he gave up six runs in 3.2 innings. Last season, Chen pitched very well in his four appearances (one start) vs the Twins, giving up just one run in 12.2 innings.
