Streamer Report: Wednesday's Streaming Pitcher Options

The Streamer Report provides you with daily startng pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.

Wednesday's Streamers

Tyler Skaggs, Angels vs A's

Skaggs is still under owned at 32.3% in most leagues, and I have a feeling Diamondbacks GM Kevin Towers is second guessing himself for trading him this offseason. Skaggs has gone at least seven innings in each of his first two starts this season, with a 2.40 ERA and 0.93 WHIP.

Travis Wood, Cubs vs Yankees

Wood is owned in just over 13% of leagues at the moment and he squares off against the surging Yankees on Wednesday night in Yankee Stadium. Wood has made just one career start vs the Yankees, giving up four runs in seven innings of work. He will look to improve upon that on Wednesday.

Jeremy Guthrie, Royals vs Astros

Guthrie is owned in 2.6% of leagues and faces the young, strikeout-prone Astros lineup on Wednesday night. Guthrie did not fare well in his lone start vs the Astros in 2013, giving up six runs in five innings of work, but I will take my chances today. Guthrie pitched well in his last outing vs the Rays, giving up just one run on four hits in seven innings.
