The Streamer Report provides you with daily startng pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.
Monday's Streamers
There are only nine games on the schedule for Monday, so here are your selections:
Roberto Hernandez, Phillies vs Braves
Hernandez is barely owned at this point in the season, but probably should be. He 1-0 with a 4.35 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in his two starts thus far. He has given up five runs in his two starts, but that comes with a solid 14-2 strikeout to walk rate over 10.1 innings.
Wei-Yin Chen, Orioles vs Royals
Chen is owned in less than 1% of leagues, but gets the struggling Royals team on Monday night. Chen has struggled in his two starts thus far, giving up eight runs in 10.2 innings, but the Royals rank 28th in runs scored in 2014, scoring just 29 runs in 10 contests.
Robbie Erlin, Padres vs Rockies
The Rockies are known to struggle to score runs on the road, and Erlin, who is owned in less than 1% of leagues, pitched well in his first start of the season, limiting the Indians to one run on four hits over six innings.
