The Streamer Report provides you with daily startng pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.
Friday's Streamers
Skaggs is owned in just over 10% of leagues right now, and I see that improving as the season goes along. Skaggs gave up just one run in eight innings in his first start of the season vs the Astros, and will be looking to repeat that performance on Friday night vs the Mets.
Wily Peralta, Brewers vs Pirates
Peralta is owned in less than 1% of leagues and face the Pirates on Friday night. Peralta will be looking to build upon his first start of the season, where he gave up two runs on five hits in five innings. In his lone start vs the Buccos last season, Peralta gave up three runs on nine hits in six innings.
Gibson is barely owned in most leagues, but he faces a Royals team on Friday night that is struggling to score runs this season. The Royals rank 28th in runs scored in the early going, scoring just 20 runs in their first seven games.
