Streamer Report: Wednesday's Streaming Pitcher Options

Ray highlights some starting pitcher options that you should consider streaming on Wednesday.

Christian Petersen

The Streamer Report provides you with daily startng pitcher streaming selections for owners who prefer to stream starting pitchers on a daily basis. This report identifies starting pitchers who are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues, and who either has a decent track record vs their opponent, has pitched well of late, or has a decent matchup.

Wednesday's Streamers

Tyson Ross, SD vs Dodgers

Tyson, a hyped sleeper this offseason, is owned in just 1.6% of ESPN leagues, which is a little surprising. He is looking to build on his strong second half of 2013, where he had a 2.93 ERA, and a 85-23 strikeout to walk rate in 80 innings of work.

Charlie Morton, PIT vs Cubs

Morton is owned in less than 1% of ESPN leagues but gets a nice start vs the Cubs on Wednesday. In three starts vs the Cubs last season, Morton went 0-1 with a 3.50 ERA and a 16-6 strikeout to walk rate in 18 innings of work.

Hector Santiago, LAA vs Mariners

Santiago is owned in just 2.3% of ESPN leagues and gets to face the Mariners for the first time in his career. The Mariners scored 10 runs on Monday night, but ranked just 22nd in runs scored in 2013. Santiago put up a 3.56 ERA last season while pitching in Cellular Field, and I see him performing well pitching in the spacious Angels Stadium this season.
