The draft is a standard 12 team, 5 x 5, $260 auction where each owner has to draft 14 hitters, 9 pitchers and 6 reserve spots. It is a two catcher league with five outfielders and one utility spot.
The participants (in order of last year's finish):
Larry Schechter, Winning Fantasy Baseball
Nick Minnix, KFFL.com
Ray Flowers, SiriusXM
Rick Wolf/Glenn Colton, Fantasy Alarm
Tristan Cockcroft, ESPN
Perry Van Hook, Mastersball
Brandon Funston, Yahoo
Chris Liss, RotoWire
Steve Gardner, USA TODAY Sports
Dave Adler, Baseball HQ
Eno Sarris, Fangraphs
Greg Ambrosius/Shawn Childs, NFBC
You can listen to the auction draft live on SiriusXM Fantasy radio, or follow along via the link above. The NL only auction is tomorrow night at 7pm ET.
These drafts are a good barometer for how to value players in most AL/NL only auction leagues, but remember that the LABR league is not a keeper league, so your draft day values may differ significantly due to the fact that cheap keepers result in higher inflation in most auction leagues.
