I've been eliminated from my home league playoffs the last two years because my opponent rostered a defense that went off. For example, he played the Chiefs against the Redskins, where the Chiefs D/ST scored 27 points in a landslide victory.
In the playoffs, you need every point you can get. Make sure you set your lineups wisely, and best of luck.
Two Matchups to Play
New York Giants against the Tennessee Titans
You might not trust the Giants after their clunker against the Jaguars last week, but their defense still scored them 9 points for fantasy. I'll take it. Eli Manning and Co. should dominate this Titan defense, especially after what Houston did last week, and the defense should take advantage of the absence of Justin Hunter and the injury to Kendall Wright.
Green Bay Packers against the Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons on the road should be reason enough, but this Green Bay offense is on fire and should dominate the game. Also, the defense, especially against the run, has been much improved since Dom Capers switched Clay Matthews to inside linebacker.
Three Matchups to Avoid
Philadelphia Eagles against the Seattle Seahawks
New England Patriots against the San Diego Chargers
Buffalo Bills against the Denver Broncos
