Week 10 PPR WR/TE Sleepers
As we come to the end on week 4 in this NFL season, injuries are starting to affect fantasy teams all around. With teams on their bye weeks as well, it is my job to give you the best advice for up and coming receivers and tight ends that can help fantasy owners in PPR format leagues. As everyone knows, WR and TE are very important to fantasy owners in PPR leagues. This makes it crucial to find those under the radar guys during waivers each week. Don't miss out on the next big stud.
Heading into week 10
All players on my list are owned in less than 40% of ESPN Leagues
Kenny Britt - Wide Receiver - St. Louis Rams (9.9% owned)
Coming into his second week as the Rams clear number 1 target, Kenny Britt will look to add another touchdown catch against the Arizona Cardinals. The big physical veteran receiver had 32 yards and a touchdown last week. Kenny who is physical on the line could have a solid day against a cardinals secondary who has struggled this season against the pass. Give Kenny a look this week as a low flex option in deeper league formats.
Andre Holmes - Wide Receiver - Oakland Raiders (22.4% owned)
The young Andre Holmes has had a solid season this year having around 4-5 catches a game and 4 touchdowns on the year. He will also be facing the Denver Broncos who should jump out to a huge lead early on. This means the Raiders will be forced to air the ball out and could lead to a solid amount of garbage time points for Andre Holmes. Last time I checked garbage time points can really help out your team. Look at Odell Beckham Jr. last week who had 100 yards just from garbage time. Give Andre a shot with a lot of targets most likely coming his way against a high powered Denver offense.
Mychal Rivera - Tight End - Oakland Raiders (35% owned)
Coming off back to back solid weeks, Mychal Rivera is proving to be a solid tight end going forward. With 15 catches and over 100 yards and two touchdowns in the past two games, he will look to keep it going against a Denver defense who has struggled against opposing tight ends. Yes, Mychal is no Antonio Gates or Gronk, but he will get plenty of looks because of the high powered offense of the Broncos and the Raiders will be playing from behind the whole game most likely. Give Rivera a shot especially those who have Gronk who is on bye this week.
Scott Chandler - Tight End - Buffalo Bills (30% owned)
The bills have certainly surprised the NFL this year and especially the play of veteran QB Kyle Orton. Scott Chandler has certainly been one of Kyle Orton's top targets this year and continues to have a solid year. He currently ranks top 20 for points by TE in most PPR formats. Many owners who have Gronk should give Chandler a look as well. Facing a Chiefs defense who will certainly put a lot of coverage on Sammy Watkins, look for Chandler to see a lot of man to man coverage and good opportunities to get a solid amount of points.
